Vetokele is probably shaking his head sighing "I have seen this before".

Incredible. I wonder what people like Vetokele, Tex and Cebbelos think ? Ordinarily, the manager/coach would be an important consideration for a player but I suspect they're probably not in the least surprised, given their experience of this goon.

The good news, however - at least for the guy who's been dismissed - is that Roland always finds another job somewhere for his pantechnicon of sacked coaches. Every cloud has a silver lining.

As a matter of interest, is a sacking after two games likely to qualify Duchatelet as the quickest Chairman finger on the trigger this season, at least within the significant European leagues ?

It suggest to me a guy who really should be severing his ties with the game - especially given the financial madness of the English Championship, as reflected in the latest Deloitte annual report. I've only read a summary in 'When Saturday Comes' but, given the number of teams with parachute owners and the fact that over half the clubs are now in foreign ownership, it's plain as a pikestaff that Duchatelet hasn't the stomach for that sort of competition, even if we can get up this season.

Do yourself a favour old chap and call it a day...

Sounds like he walked out on them so not Roland's fault

Fake news ? A shame to S poil a good propaganda story with the facts.

Mind you, why did he walk out - 'football differences' ?

Apparently the players were laughing at the coach and couldn't understand him.

Before I even clicked this thread, I thought of Congo Chris. Nice little return to the network for him after Robinson sacked him from cone duty.

It's weird that none of our esteemed series of RD managers/coaches (other than Chris) have ever managed STTV, whereas many had connections to Standard Liege.

Roland doesn't want to push the shit managers onto his favourite club does he

Honestly in all the baffling and poor decisions the clowns upstairs have made during their time at Charlton, hiring this guy for me, is by far the worst thing they have done on the playing side of things.
