Blumberg is a big solid player, have not seen enough of him, but he didn't look out of place.
peter Burrows told me that we play Liverpool in the U23 Cup at the Valley the evening before Fleetwood away (29th September?)2 -
I also went and was impressed by Blumberg, solid no nonsense left sided centre half who organises well. Also Taylor Maloney in midfield had plenty of time on the ball. Anderson took his goal well.
U23s starting XI | Beeney, Barnes, Nwosu, Blumberg, Edwards, Maloney, Mascoll, Lapslie, Anderson, Sarpong-Wiredu, Yamfam
Subs | Osaghe, Dijksteel, Carter, Willis, Doughty. #cafc

Any thoughts on Mascoll from those who attended??0

Big, quick and strong. Not sure if he is good enough to make it but way to early to judge.mart77 said:Any thoughts on Mascoll from those who attended??

Strong U23 side. I was hoping that Dijksteel would play for the first team on Saturday.2

The kid can certainly shoot. Guaranteed no DNA match with old spongefoot.0

Get him in the first team. That'll sort him out.1

2nd of Maloney's goals v Crewe was as good I've seen. Such speed on the shot from distance the boy has talent for sure!1
