Afternoon, welcome from a sunny but cold n crisp South East London.
No trip oop North for me today, the Sooty Show and Winter Wonderland won the day so I'll be consoling myself in Bavarian Gold and Bratwurst and following the match thread.
Team news below, come on you reds

Congratulations to @cjsolly, who captains the side on his 250th appearance for the club this afternoon

Holmes in the 10 role? From memory he's struggled in that position, better suited out wide imo.0
-
Spoke to a steward in the car park, he reckons they’ve been getting home crowds this season of 2500 - 3500k I wonder what today’s offering will bring?0

Going by twitter it sounds like we're playing three at the back so...cafcsinger said:Holmes in the 10 role? From memory he's struggled in that position, better suited out wide imo.

Konsa | Bauer | Sarr
Solly | Kashi | Forster-Caskey | Dasilva
Holmes | Magennis | Marshall3 -
Be interested to see if it's three at the back or Dasilva on the left wing. Either way, it's a bad time to be Ahearne-Grant.3
-
I would have thought we'd keep the same formation, but with Sarr at LB and Dasilva further forward, but who knows?0
-
Kim Novak not playing for them nor Simon Spongefoot.ForeverAddickted said:
Crofts on the bench.
Only one goal to be scored against us then - from a late sub. You know who.
Let's hope we're 2-0 up by then.

Seems that way from what the twitter account has postedkillerandflash said:I would have thought we'd keep the same formation, but with Sarr at LB and Dasilva further forward, but who knows?

Oh dear, no ex-Charlton in the starting 11

Apparently it's same formation as normal 4-2-3-1 sarr left back, Holmes number 10 and dasilva left wing2
-
Not a particularly inspiring bench. Presume Fosu is injured?0

Beat me to it, Forever.ForeverAddickted said:

It certainly looks that way.
But I don't suppose leopards change their spots ....... expect 4-2-3-1, with Sarr at LB and Dasilva as our flying left winger!!

Good to know. I would have been genuinely shocked if Robinson had changed his formationCovered_End_Lad said:Apparently it's same formation as normal 4-2-3-1 sarr left back, Holmes number 10 and dasilva left wing

Da Silva played LM/LW pretty much up until the year before he joined us , he’s very capable there.1

For some reason I’m a lot more optimistic about this now than I was a few days ago. Just hope we don’t have to bring on a sub.0

Hope it is 3 at the back... That team looks strong0

Can't say i know too much about Scunny's team, but Morris, Van Veen and Holmes all on the bench. I thought they were there big players?2
-
Apart from Jacko and Doodoo, are all the subs academy graduates?0

I did read this week that Morris has been out injured - probably not properly match fit?cafcsinger said:Can't say i know too much about Scunny's team, but Morris, Van Veen and Holmes all on the bench. I thought they were there big players?

It's not, it's 4-2-3-1 with Sarr LB and Dasilva left of the 3.CAFCsayer said:Hope it is 3 at the back... That team looks strong

We need Clarke back as soon as possible.4
-
That XI would work well as a 433 with Konsa playing in the Jason Euell box to box midfielder role.0
