It is fucking outrageous how Zaha gets away with it week after week, season after season.
Every time the camera pans to him he is whining about not getting a free-kick or a penalty, yet he cons more decisions out of referees than any other player in the Premier league.
He should be banned retrospectively for 10 games and given a £2M fine. Minimum.

Tough on crime, tough on the causes of crime. Like your style.

    ....Happy New Year everyone
  • The Arsenal WBA game is 0-0 at HT, a conspiracy with the pubs to stop people staying in to watch MOTD2 tonight
  • Went to Lingfield races today. One of the chaps I was with happens to be a Brighton fan and we watched the last 15 minutes of the City game between races.

How we cheered in unison when Palace missed their penalty. Three Palace fans standing nearby seemed to be somewhat bemused by our behaviour - one was even heard to say "how can two blokes from the south both be supporting City?" They are probably still trying to work it out.

can you imagine how terrible it would be if Everton hadn't taken points off of city right at the start of the season. we'd now be looking at the potential horror of palace being the only team not to lose to them the entire season

The mutual tossing off on sky sports on palaces escapades become irritating.
  • We pull ourselves around the living room getting a point at Wigan by wasting time and hanging on and poxy palarse are gutted about drawing with one of the best teams in the world .
    Sad sad times
And yes they are all geeky Surrey choir boys but we are leagues apart in footballing terms
Will we ever finish above the stripey twunts

It's new year 's eve and I'm favoured.

    Stripey Nigel cnuts
  • Sad as it is, they are a decent side under Woy, and no way will they be relegated - Zaha is a cheating fucker, but hopefully he'll be sold in Jan.

Yes of course, the top flight is very much snakes and ladders bar around 8-9 clubs. Was looking at a PL table from only 7 seasons ago and 10 of the teams who were in the PL are now in the championship/league one

Keep the faith, Palace could quite easily go down. Every team around them is showing fight and it's anyone's guess who is going down atm. Hopefully it's Palace, West Ham and Stoke, not fussed about the others

Form is temporary. We’ll be back - each new year brings the possibility closer, it’ll take a few more but we’ll get there in the end!

As much as I hate that fact you're always always right about the stripey nigels staying up the last couple of years, in the bigger picture football goes through many cycles.

Yes Palace have finished above us for 10 years now but what do they have to show for those 10 years? Nothing. The cycle will turn again one day and they'll be the ones looking up at us again soon enough. I don't know when or for how long but have faith it'll happen.

They have a few hundred million in the bank, if nothing else that’s what they have to show for it. Money that will keep them out of our reach for some time to come.

I doubt that, what comes into football goes straight back out.

If they had a few hundred million in the bank they'd be spending it to buy better players surely?

They are actively touting two players they want to sell in the January window to free up some funds for Hodgson.

The main stand needs some serious work carried out on it to enable them to continue using it to it's full capacity.

They are struggling to find the finance necessary for their latest stadium plans.

The water table levels under the Holmesdale Stand continue to rise.

I know someone who works quite high up for palarse and he told me that behind the scenes they are a bit of a mess. If they were to drop they would be fucked. Their academy hasnt got any player of note coming through and has been pushed to the side. Stadium is a massive money pit for them as we already know, needs virtually rebuilding. Not as rosy as it seems from what he told me. Excellent.
We have an early frontrunner for Post of the Year 2018.

Who was the rich Yank that joined their board a while back? (The one who had been sniffing around us I believe?)
Wasn't he supposedly going to guarantee their financial stability and/or underwrite their stadium upgrade?

Whilst Charlton are so dire I find it hard to take joy in Palace's inadequacies as much as I would dearly love to.
  • Watch him now get the winning goal tomorrow, joke decision.

Christ knows what the bloke has to do to get a ban!!

Hopefully they're saving the ban for when Palace need him the most

I honestly believe if he was a foreign premier league player(I know he plays for the Ivory Coast) that he would have had a ban by now.

yes and his behaviour while shopping for a club didn't inspire too much confidence, I am now pleased to say. I like Steve Parish and I reckon the split of shares in the boardroom is causing problems. They've been doing some un-Parish like things with managers since Harris came on board.

    I remain hopeful.
