The singing of Super Al last night

am i getting old and my memory going a little hazy ?

has the ground been infested by post-Mendonca johnnies ?

I am convince the chant back in the day was always 'Al, Al, Super Al' rather than 'Super, super Al'. I'm convinced the first ever 'Super' was Sir Clive.

Did the whole ground get it wrong and prove themselves to be play-off bandwagoners ??

Should i have other more important things to worry about ????

On a similar point why was everyone singing Alan Pardew's Red Army intsted of Alan Pardews RED AND WHITE army?
    Sounded silly.

Typical Charlton fans, has always been the same - get more than four of them together and they start singing different songs.

my little lot had a terrible one in the early 90s

She wore a red n white scarf, and a red n white hat
Said if you hate Palace you know where you're at
I pulled up a pew next to 'er at the bar
I bought 'er a drink and lit up a cigar
And when she said she knew the score, she said
clap, clap, clap clap clap, clap clap clap clap Charlton !

(She looked right silly saying all those claps...)

we used to win a bit then as well.

Perhaps these players need to be inspired by a few choruses of the Rhubarb n Custard theme tune ???
