Amos: 6.5 had nothing much to do
    Dijksteel: 7.5 getting better
    Konsa: 8 MOTM
    Lennon: 7 solid
DaSilva: 7 helped Mavdidi a lot
Kashi: 7 Captain for the day and led by example
Marshall: 6.5 can be frustrating but popped up with the goal.
Aribo: 7 great set up for the goal needs to get forward more.
Reeves: 6.5 started well but faded 2nd half.
Mavididi: 7.5 great runs but sometimes takes on the same player twice and loses the ball.
Magennis: 6 missed two good chances.

  • Was there

Amos - 6.5 Nothing of note to do but assured and feel 6 would be bit harsh considering he done nothing wrong.
Dikjsteel - 7 Solid enough, can be caught out of positionally but understandable considering his age and natural CM.
DaSilva - 7.5 Real class act, not much to do defensively but great to watch the link up with Stephy
Konsa - 8.5 Rolls Royce display, dominate against an wily old pro. MOTM
Lennon - 8 Commanding performance and as mentioned by, feel he's a great organiser and especially needed with age of defence.
Marshall - 7 Pleased he got his goal, constantly works hard and thought he caused a threat today despite being doubled up on.
Mavididi - 7.5 Great performance very Lookman like. Plays like he's in the playground which is great to see as I feel footballers are often too drilled these days
Kashi - 7.5 Controlled the game, solid and kept things simple.
Aribo - 7.5 Much like Kashi solid and great play to set the goal up.
Reeves - 7 Best display I've seen from him in the number 10 role. Really good passing and moving.
Mcgennis - 6 Just isn't happening for him right now. Easy chance with the chip.

    Subs - Not enough time.

On a whole, we were depleted and you can only beat what is put in front of you. Frustrating that we should have scored 3 at least and instead were holding on at the end,

    Amos: 6 - Did he make a save? 6

Dijksteel: 7 - Started very shakily but grew into the game and calmed down. Doesn't look a right back but needs must at the moment. He does have these moments where he steps into midfield and drives forward with the ball, which gives me hope for him when he's eventually played in his natural position.

Konsa: 8.5 - Got on the end of everything. Was the most experienced (in terms of league appearances) member of that back four, and the 20-year-old took on that mantel well. Really good game from him.

Lennon: 6 - Never convinced by him. Shaky on the ball. Lazy long balls into the channel. And at least once a game he gets caught under a diagonal ball that he should be getting to.

DaSilva: 8 - Never stops running. His linked up with Mav is very promising.

Kashi: 7 - The game passed him by in the first half with all the long balls, but in the second half he got his foot on the ball and really started to dictate play. Had some vital tackles down the stretch.

Marshall: 7 - +1 for the goal. Beyond that, it was largely the same old story for him. But he scored a crucial goal and hopefully that puts some confidence in him.

Aribo: 7.5 - +.5 for the lovely assist. He looks dangerous with the ball at his feet. He is good at holding on to it to draw defenders in, then beating them or laying it off. Not his best game, some sloppy touches, but it was a shit pitch. Got stuck in and provided a moment of class to break the deadlock. He is raw, but he looks very, very promising. It was around this time last year that it was rumored that big clubs were tracking him.

Reeves: 8 - So that's why we waited so long and brought in a player without a pre-season. He was everywhere, always wanting the ball in tight spaces, and turning and looking to make things happen. His ball control is absolutely excellent for this level. He works really hard off the ball, which we've desperately missed since Clarke went off the boil. More like this please. A fit and firing Reeves really could be the difference between making the playoffs and not.

Mavididi: 7 - Boy he's fun to watch, isn't he? Looks dangerous every time the ball is at his feet. Things didn't quite come off for him, and he was unlucky that he hit the post after a brilliant run. But I really look forward to an attacking three of him, Reeves, and Fosu.

Magennis: 6.5 - Thought he looked much better. A big difference was in the second half we played the ball to his feet and with his back to goal he held off his man, laid it off, and moved to create space. The miss was bad, but I think it was tougher than it looked, especially because Ripley was very clever in that he dummied to rush out then backed off. That said, a player with confidence lets the ball bounce and volleys it instead of the chip.

Hackett-Fairchild: n/a He's a big lad and stronger than he looks. Had a couple tidy touches. You can see in little flashes that he clearly has something about him.
