  • I have heard a very similar figure - in fact slightly higher, but that was a couple of weeks ago.

Did you mention this at the time Rick. I may have missed it in amongst all the poetry, bizarre sex acts etc..............

Some facts to settle the minds.
He cannot keep Ground and Training Ground without writing a cheque for £7mn to buy back charges owned by RM and 6 other Ex Directors.
He doesn’t want to pay them off, therefore buyers are expected to.This is a blockage.
His asking price of £45 to £55mn is ridiculous.
Two buyers are in the open Aussie Group and Donald Muir/ McLeish group, one done DD 3 months ago , one doing it now?
No one will offer more than £25mn up front , so he has to take a deal on his remaining debt and sort out Ex Directors.
    Those are all facts.

    Unknowns
Is RM involved in both or either bid?
Is Donal Muir working for Roland or does he have a backer?
Are there really 2 or 3 others sniffing around.
What deal will he accept on the Balance of his money going forward?

    Discuss.

    absolute twaddle
    Says who?
What is incorrect? Ask your mate RM?
We know who you are and who you represent.
All will be revealed shortly and Roland has about 8 days and counting.
Sorry Dave I have to wooosh you.....I believe Doucher was being somewhat ironic......erm I think!

  • If we are sold for £1, how much would the interest payments to Roland for the debt be each month?

By my reckoning that means the first proper communication after the one announcing the takeover will include the phrase, 'We were pursuing a number of transfer targets but couldn't quite get them over the line.'

So are we for sale for £1:00 or £55 million?

It’s important I know because I could get this done very quickly.

Sorry, but I can literally double your £1 bid. Bring the club back to the family at last.

When two members of ROT talked with Duchâtelet in August, one of them referenced the purchase price of the club, the fact that the club and been degraded, questioned the £50-£60m that Duchâtelet was reported to be looking for, and suggested this sort of figure seemed unrealistic.

Duchâtelet responded saying, "well that's your opinion, I know how to value a business, I know what a business is worth."

Make of that what you will, but for me it would suggest a £55m asking price is very believable.

Vast wealth often sends the holders in to a dream world bubble of their own making and RD's valuation is pure fantasy, even if it is worth so much more in hearts of Charlton fans.

The proof in the pudding is that he doesn't treat it like an asset of that value, but the same as the other two-bob clubs in his Mickey mouse so called network.

He's like one o those rouge landlords not carrying out repairs with the tenants living in squalor.

Btw - don't care whether RM remains at club or not after takeover - just hope somebody takes over soon with full control of all club assets because this long drawn out war of attrition might suit some but is going to be a disaster for the club

If it all goes tits up, I may have to tweet that old duffer Trump to see if he would be interested.
If you say Trump Valley enough times, it does not sound that bad does it.
Any ideas on how to sell the project

I have already paid a pound for my share for the Ronnie Moore transfer. Look where that got me,I have not seen him play for years. On that basis I am out.

Even now, as the club is a complete dumpster fire, rudderless and openly selling off our best players with absolutely no interest in making the team a success - some people still find room to apportion blame to protesters and those that oppose the regime.

If you can’t see it now, as everything collapses in front of you, you never will.
I think you will find that it is Dutch rudderless.

I’m sick of being messed around and I’m walking. I’m not being sucked into a bidding war. £1:00 is a generous offer for a club worth 95 pence.

You must be fecking joking to offer £1 for the cloob. Not worth a penny more than 20p and that includes the vinegar pissers!

OK, tell you what. I'll add some debt from my credit card and that will add to the enterprise value for you, deal?
