    Mindhunter & Manhunt: Unabomber

    Both on Netflix

I'm watching Mindhunter at the moment and i'm enjoying it despite the subject matter being pretty grim..
  • Can't believe BBC dumped The Coroner and replaced it with Shakespeare and Hathaway.
  • Save Me on Sky Atlantic is decent. Good cast and set locally.

All episodes available on UHD box set too.

Just finished it, I was absolutely gripped from the first episode. Lennie James is superb
Yup. I finished it last night n’all. Properly gripped me from start to finish.

    Great cast
Sorry to fly in the face of public opinion. Must just be me but I’ve just watched the first episode of Save Me and I’m really not feeling the love for it at all. Love Lennie but I just dont like the feel of this. Will watch it again as Everyibe else can’t be wrong.

Don't believe THIS Everyibe is wrong, SB.....

  • Another one loving Save Me.

Half way through and the casting is great. Lennie James is an incredible actor.
  • Yep. 3 episodes into Save Me & I'm hooked. Brilliant cast
  • I believe Lennie James wrote and cast it too
  • Enjoyed save me but it’s a bit Johnnie Nash, more questions than answers. Ended with too many things not sewn up.

To enable a commissioning of a 2nd series possibly???

Really think you're missing out, VG.

Just finished watching the 6 episodes & it's one of the best series I've seen in a long time.
  • Shetland episode 3 was much better. Enjoying it now.

I was being sarcastic Fanny. There’s no way I’m not watching it.

    Sounds pony

    Sounds pony
    Bit woolly in places.

  • Just finished mcmafia, note it’s not popular on here, but the Israeli gangster, bit of an Eddie Jordan lookalike
  • Just finished watching Turn about the Culper spy ring during the American war of independence, very enjoyable

I enjoyed it. A bit drawn out in places but an interesting topic. Especially these days. Looking forward to a further series.

  • Just finished Save Me.

It's probably the best original Sky Atlantic TV series they have done so far.

Lennie James and Stephen Graham are fantastic but remind me not to go for a drink in that pub. The locals are bloody weird.

Is it set in UK or USA?

Enjoying the little nods to other programmes in "Endeavour". In last week's the aristocrat was Lady Creighton-Ward, and in the previous week's they visited Crossroads Motel in Kings Oak. Also enjoying the "left wing" storylines that would have certain people frothing like billy-o had it been aired on a certain other TV channel...

I’m murder when something is set in or around a location I think I should know.

I couldn’t place that boozer in Lewisham so looked it up......it’s in Mile End.

I thought the last series was not as good as previous, so pleased to see it back as it was.

Modus finished last night. Thought it a decent thriller, not much more. Next week in that slot, a new Danish drama, including at least one actor who appeared in Modus.

And more importantly, no sign, no word of "the Bridge". I cannot understand what the BBC are playing at. If by some piece of luck an illegal stream appears with English subs, I think as many people as possible should download it and shake them out of their island complacency.

Meantime here is a nice little video clip where they discuss Saga's Porsche.

    Edit: Ahem...

    Pretty accurate depiction of Deptford!
  • I'm half way through the first season of The Tick. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it ( not into the Marvel or DC television shows) but it's been surprisingly good.

Yes - I was pleasantly surprised. If it had not had Peter Serafinowicz in it I would never have even considered watching it to be honest.

If you have Kodi it's available with subs, it finished 2 weeks ago so I can't see why BBC haven't started it yet.

I've seen them all and I'll say nothing but I'll miss Saga now it's all over, probably my favourite show of the last few years.
  • Sir Chris Powell is excellent in Save Me on Sky Atlantic. Suranne Jones accent is changeable though.
