I think the being drunk thread should be resurrected, It used be full of AFKA trying to start a sing song, but now if we can just start using it to put clips up of insulting each others families and calling each other baggy.
    Thanks in advance.

Mates take the piss out of each other and their mates Mum shocker. Ffs what a non story.

If you don’t take the piss out of your pals Mum then are they really your pal?

The fact that Kennedy used a Religious picture when saying about recovering from his ACL should indicate to you that Johnson and Kennedy aren't from the same planet, let alone mates.
Didn’t think of that-religious signs means Kennedy is a good person. Roger swears a lot so he is a bad person. They therefore can’t possibly be mates and it is definitely bullying.
Atheist since I thought for myself when 6 years old. Man created god not god created man. The way I interpreted the religious sign was a young guy who is seeing hopes of a professional football career receding and has turned to outside help. Can't see any link with any possible signs of friendship with a drunk foul mouthed footballer who has form for turning up at a training ground pissed. That is my view. If Kennedy speaks out and says that RJ is a lovely guy who helps old people (50% of CL) by delivering meals on wheels and cares deeply for mankind, then Cognitive dissonance does exist.

So many snowflakes in this thread

snowflakes are university students who ban articulate speakers who's views are different. They would have left CL years ago.
You've ruined your argument by writing who's instead of whose. Is it okay to hurl abuse at you now?

We need a dodgy banter thread where we can upload films of ourselves when pissed hurling abuse at each other. Most inane banter wins a prize.
CAFC Fans hurling banter at eachother?
I can picture 3 or 4 old blokes tucked away in the corner of a pub somewhere. One is mocking his mate who happens to own the least amount of tartan blankets.

But then again, you got offended because I don't rate Stormzy
Nah more because flat out not liking rap is usually just dog whistle racism. But that’s for another thread.
this has to be one of the most stupid things i have read on here.

my dislike for rap is that it usually refers to knifes, guns and the n word used unnecessarily, there is some skill involved but i rate other genres higher and more skilful, thats an opinion and not racist.

Haven't read all of this thread, but have a few pages and watched the video - I mean, it all depends on the context of their chat, which we don't have so all discussion is pretty futile (he says whilst continuing anyway ). I suspect they're mates and all dish it out to each other all the time and it's nothing. If they're not, then that'd be pretty horrible - we don't know.

Either way it's probably not great that it's come out because it looks bad, and there is stuff in there that can offend people (like pretty much anything nowadays). A lot of people live to be offended, and there are plenty of excuses in that video to encourage that behavior.

Usually refers to guns and knives? That comment is almost as stupid as the previous.

    baggy
    Parts of speech: noun, adjective.
A word that can be used in place of almost any other word; It can literally mean anything and people will understand what you mean by it.
Wow man, your friends are so baggy!

    F*** you, you baggy motherf***er!

Can you get me that baggy for me?

I feel so baggy after smoking that gonj.

Nope am absolutely none the wiser

So basically if you out for a meal and want to send it back you'd say: I'm sorry this food is baggy, I want to send it back, yet at the same time if the meal is nice you'd say: this food is really baggy, wish I could have it again!!

Probably referring to a players "baggy" touch.

There's worse phrases to use to be honest

I'm not sure what shanking is but I do know that male urinary incontinence is a serious subject and if young black men are rapping about it I think they should be applauded.

This is a non starter for me. If one of the players involved had uploaded it themselves then I'd say bad move as a lot of kids will follow them on social media etc but if it's been leaked then there's not much they can do.

I can't help compare how the players would have behaved on a night out in the thirties and forties. Obviously easy to satirise, but it's a reflection on how the world has changed. Is anyone arguing it's changed in a good way?

Now where did I put my bus pass.....

Well 6 million people aren't being gassed these days based on their ethnicity, women, working class and non white people are given equal rights in this country, whilst homosexuals are no longer criminalised and institutional child abuse no longer tolerated... but yes the world is a far worse place nowdays because drunk wallies film themselves acting up and using controversial language.
The same kind of things happen it's just that the targets are different today from in the past.

There are any number of working class underage girls in many towns in the UK that would take issue with your child abuse statement.

As for the 6 million people comment I could give a cheap response of Godwin's Law and leave it there but I won't. Some would say that abortion amounts to the same kind of thing though. Millions of unborn children have died since the 1967 Abortion Act came in. The opinion of the Great and Good though is that Womens Rights trump human life in that instance. There is increasing pressure from the same Great and Good to introduce euthanasia. How long before that becomes compulsory if they do? All for the best utilitarian motives of course.

If there are two huddles before the next game: Big Josh and pals and Solly and mates. Does that mean that sweargate did cause offence?

Not really... If I sent a mate a video, who sends him mate the clip who then passes it on a different friend (who then passes it to the Media) its not me who has leaked it but the bloke thats been sent the video that I dont know.

If anything they should have been a bit more sensible in their choice of friends

A young fella called his mate a pikey and some have managed to relate it to the KKK, Nazi Germany and The 1967 Abortion Act.

Coincidentally, an ex-pro (Palace-Wimbledon-Millwall) I used to drink with was called Pikey to his pals, is that word a complete no no these days, or still a grey area?

If his name was Dave Pike, not a problem, if he owns a caravan and travels to different locations it might be. More inland than the coast will cause issues.

I used to play football with a Dave Pike who was known as pikey, which was nice.
