Glastonbury 2009

edited September 2008 in Not Sports Related
I know some people will be thinking I'm a bit early for this but remember the tickets for next year go on sale on sunday morning

anyone going for them?

Comments

  • any clues as to who's appearring ?
  • in two minds. if i could get a refund if i change my mind then i'm in.... defeats the object of a deposit though i guess.
  • got ours this morning , seems like the days of it being a massive problem are gone as they're still available now .

Weird that it's so far away and we've got them sorted already
  • Got mine yesterday afternoon. No problem.

Definitely helped only having to pay a deposit.
  • Doing ours today on the off chance I go as a few of my lot (myself included) have settled down/are settling down and might go for one last hurrah.

Personally after this year I think the line up will be quality, a lot of my favourite bands, Oasis, Kasabian will play.

Oasis nailed on Saturday headliner after last time.
  • If I can get my number tonight somehow then i'll get ours tomorrow.

I did hear that Franz Ferdinand were rumoured to be on the bill...
  • I've heard franz ferdinand, ting tings and kanye west are all definites.

Can see kasabian and oasis being back to back on saturday.
  • Kasabian have already said they are playing, saw them in 2007, hazy but quality.
  • Apparently bruce springsteen and blur are going to be announced as saturday and sunday headliners respectively.

  • cliff richards doing the friday pyramid headline...
  • Stiff Pilchard is doing the Pyramid stage?

    You're having a larf ........
  • Will Rick Astley be there?
  • let's face it we've had to suffer the likes of Will Young , Shakin Stevens and nearly kylie Minogue in the last few years there so it wouldn't surprise me to see cliff or rick play there

Springstein is one of thise perfect glastonbury headliners in he respect that he is someone most people wouldn't usually pay to see in concert but would be very interested to see at glastonbury if only for the experience
  • "he is someone most people wouldnt usually pay to see i a concert " are you having a laugh ?

in 80z at Wembley blinding. Not in a cow patch in some field.
  • It's a bloody big field at Glasto, GH

    ;o)
  • You should feel right at home then Oggy ;-)
  • Heard, from a slightly iffy grapevine, that Fleetwood mac would be playing some part at Glastonbury next year.

i wouldn't mind standing knee deep in mud and pi55 for that!
  • I'm actually doing some business with Mick Fleetwood currently and there are no plans for FM reformed to do anything next year at the moment - so I would say it's a VERY iffy statement ...
