Alice is the daughter of former Republic of Ireland international footballer Mark Kinsella. Alice's brother Liam is also a footballer and currently plays with Walsall. Liam has represented Ireland at underage level.[3]

Yes for England. I was actually going to make a joke about her dad being disappointed it was not for Ireland but thought better of itRaith_C_Chattonell said:

Well done Alice (and Mark!)
Saw Mark Hughes on Football Focus last week, he should have been at the games as his daughter is competing for Wales in the hockey. I bet he wishes he had been out there now!0 -
Especially as Ireland is not in the Commonwealth.Northstandpieeater said:

Well done @Exiled_Addick but offering qualified praise is always likely to mean you attract criticism and questions.Exiled_Addick said:Well done Alice, but the Commonwealth Games is the Johnstone Paint Trophy of international athletics.
So, bearing in mind that Alice Kinsella has not been able to win an Olympic medal this year, and that the Commonwealth Games is the pinnacle of her sport in 2018, let me ask you a question.
What was your best sporting achievement when you were 17?7
