A shame to say I only heard of Kenny Rankin this evening.
he's been dead since 2009.
Does such fantastic job with one of my favorite standards.

Got Stereo MC's locked and loaded to tomorrow's graft2 -
Cheers. You will of course be well aware of them, since you are French, but Moon Safari by Air was the very definition of chilled out dance by the turn of the millennium.i_b_b_o_r_g said:Had Sneaker Pimps and Zero 7 on today, cheers for suggestions @Chef_addick and @McBobbin.

Great album - can't say I ever tried dancing to it
Let me see now,
Snot running down his nose.. two three
Greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes..two three.
Nope, doesn't work for me. Well, not on one leg.

Guillemots - Through the windowpane
haven't listened to this album in a few years but it fits so well with the sunshine.
love the last track, 'Sao Paulo'. its as if they used every instrument they had and then said you know what it still feels like it needs something more. I think I've got it, church bells and a flipping gong! lets do this.

Tycho and Bonobo are both good. Tycho probably a bit more electronic. Youth Lagoon are good as well, even more chilled.
also there's that retro sounding synth electronic artists. Electric Youth being one.1 -

You not been to Grove Park Yoga and Street Dance? Well known for its experimantal blend of trip hop, acid jazz and northern French thrash metal during the dance and creative process.McBobbin said:
