And so the
12th CL Predictions League comes to an end. I wouldn’t say a glorious end, as Week 34 proved about as glorious as a Gareth Gates greatest hits CD. Just 1.22 the average score for the week, the 2nd lowest scoring week of the season and 38% of participants blew a raspberry. Basically, you had to avoid Brum v Fulham, Leicester v West Ham and Rochdale v Charlton, but huge numbers of you went for the favourites in those and come a cropper.
A massive congratulations to
@Taxi_Lad on his well-deserved Premier League win. He first topped the league in Week 16 after
@Beardface and
@bellz2002 set the early running, and he never looked back from there.
His 92 points was an average of 2.70pts a week. This compares with an average 2.86pts that
@Nicholas won the league with last season, though I think I’ve possibly been a bit harsher this year than
@shirty5 was historically in omitting certain fixtures.
