POK, mates know him and plays pool occasionally with them in Eltham
Charlie, used to play in my local league (obv i stopped last season because i play too much pool and was only 1 frame and a trebles)

win / win, i would back Charlie Walters slightly more as closer to home. I think it would be great to have Reanne on the tour, but not sure whether she would win more than a couple of times. POK friends of friend and still young so would be nice to see him on the tour.

Did Charlie enter all 3 or just Q school 1.

I know a few of these players could only afford to risk entry to 1(obviously if you enter all 3 you have to try and afford travel or somewhere to stay in and around Burton for almost 3 weeks

I am not sure, i wouldn't be surprised if he entered all 3. He often hangs about with Trump/lisowski so you would think he might know a few sponsors.

who are you following/ cheering on?

    Good knowledge.
Seems a bit weird to give it to someone who is in charge of the game in Thailand of all places. Did he do anything particularly groundbreaking in his role? Or is it just that he's been in charge there for 100 years or something?

He had been president for 30 years i think plus he was key(without him it wouldnt have happened) in getting snooker in the Asian Games
  • Was gonna update Q School 2 at Quarter Final stage but forgot, so updating at Semi Final stage, these players are now 2 wins away from a tour card

    Q School Semi Final:

    Jordan Brown v Andy Hicks
    James Cahill v Jamie Cope

    Craig Steadman v Lucky Vatnani
    Kishan Hirani v Adam Duffy

    Mitchell Mann v David Lilley
    Andy Lee v Lu Ning

    Andreas Ploner v Zhao Xintong
    Dechawat Poomjaeng v Michael Judge
  • They are all pretty tough to call, i would say Cahill and Xintong might go through but not alot in most of them. Not sure why but not a fan of Jamie Cope, wouldn't be a shame if he missed out.

Love a bit of Poomjaeng, when i went to the welsh open (when in newport) he came out and i started singing nananana (tune baby give it up) poomjaeng, was quite entertaining and a few people laughed :D
  • Jordan Brown 4-0 Andy Hicks
    Jamie Cope 4-1 James Cahill

    Craig Steadman 4-2 Lucky Vatnani
    Adam Duffy 4-1 Kishan Hirani

    Mitchell Mann 4-3 David Lilley
    Lu Ning 4-1 Andy Lee

    Zhao Xintong 4-0 Andreas Ploner
    Dechawat Poomjaeng 4-2 Michael Judge

    Q School 2 final

    Jordan Brown v Jamie Cope
    Craig Steadman v Adam Duffy
    Mitchell Mann v Lu Ning
    Zhao Xintong v Dechawat Poomjaeng

    Personally would like to see
    Brown win
    Ning win
    Poomjaeng win

Dont care about Steadman v Duffy both been on tour both lost tour cards this year
  • Come on Jordan Brown, had a feeling he might do it if Cahill loses to Cope. 3-0 up at present nice to have a new face around and did well in Q1
  • First player from Q School 2 to earn a 2 year tour card is Jordan Brown.

Jordan is 30 years old from Northern Ireland was a pro in 2009/2010 but dropped of after 1 year.

As a northern irishman he has been invited to the Northern Ireland open the last 2 years losing to Kyren Wilson in the 2nd round in 2016 and Mei Xiwen in the first round last year.

Has made 10 centuries in his career and a high break of 136

Like the write up paulie good stuff, pleased he's got through seems a good lad and more interesting than Jamie Cope
  • 2nd man through from Q School 2 is Zhao Xintong not gonna do a write up for him as he has been on the tourfor the last 2 years anyway

Wow , that doesn't suprise me there are some dodgy results collectively involving chinese players, would be a shame if the latter got suspended as he came on alot last year and would be pushing top 16 with a good season.
