Perhaps Billings should swallow his pride and play some Kent 2s in order to find some form.

Well both Cross and MacLeod have played for Kent 2s this season and it hasn't done them any harm has it?

Having now seen Billings' dismissal it really does smack of a "scrambled brain" and lack of confidence - a full toss that, when in form, he would have hit out of the park, he played no more than a half shot to and was caught by a fielder at short mid wicket that he probably didn't even recognise as being there despite probably looking at him any number of times before taking guard.

The longer it goes - 78 runs from his last dozen innings - the more pressure he will be under from himself as much as anyone else. If he's not going to go away and play for the 2s then he needs to relieve himself of one of his specialisms. Because I really don't see how he can captain, keep and find his form with the bat at the moment.

Calum MacLeod has agreed a T20 contract with Derbyshire. Not sure quite how that will impact on his Bexley appearances as not many are on a Saturday.
  • Perhaps he will go back and play for Hartley if he has a free saturday ? Him and Laurie Evans together should be a challenge

I can't see him doing both, he'll want to concentrate on this chance to get back into the professional game

Not as he's at Bexley he won't with Matt Cross. Hartley are also 4th bottom in Div 1 and on Saturday they lost by 226 runs!

An annoying partnership (181-6). I'm guessing that it's been pretty easy playing against the old ball. Riley has been economical though (19 overs for 35 runs)

Hopefully Henry and Stevo with the new ball will clean up the tail

Bang on cue, Henry gets van Buuren for 83

It's so nice having a lethal strike bowler

But not so nice when he's not with you for the entire season. Is this his last game or does he have another one after this?

Anyway, two wickets in two balls for Henry, 204-9.

    Worth a look!

Yet another massive score for Robinson, with useful quickfire contributions from the two other Beckenham boys Blake and MacVicar!

Pretty sure a he's here until the start of the t20. Really hope we can get him back, can't remember the last time we had someone who has made an impact this big.

I was just looking at the latest scores & noticed in Durhams second innings so far there has been 81 extras, which includes 34 byes.

There was some talk about Kent hoping he'd return later in the summer. I think the NZ authorities are trying to protect his workload

Hopefully fresh bowlers can make the breakthrough first thing. We do need our spinners to help out too, over to you Adam!
