There’s a Belgian bar here in Calpe offering a free beer every time Belgium score today. Guess where I’ll be a 5 o’clock?

I can guess you’ll be pissed by 6:45.
  • I don't think Germany have too much to worry about based on this game

Germany are in a lot of trouble if they fail to beat Sweden in their next match.

Sweden may be winning, but how the hell did they beat Italy?!

if you saw that match you would understand. Sweden were pretty awful but Italy were fucking useless. not helped by bizarre team selections and a style of football that I thought was exclusively Englands. The 'having no idea how to break a defence down' style. i thought Hodgeson had somehow become the Italian manager.

That's what everyone said about Mexico! Based off what I saw from Germany going forward, they could struggle to break down the Swedish defence.

The Linesman/Assistant had a perfect view of the penalty incident, no idea how he missed it as well

he didn't miss it in my opinion he bottled it because he knew VAR was there as his safety net. Of course if Korea go up the other end and score then you have a riot on your hands. (well probably not but can't say that for every countries fans)

Belgium (3-4-2-1): Courtois, Alderweireld, Boyata, Vertonghen, Meunier, Witsel, De Bruyne, Carrasco, Mertens, E. Hazard, R. Lukaku.

You don't have a riot as it's a stonewall penalty

So, do we want Belgium to win this one so hopefully we both have 6 points after two games and are through?

We want either team to win 6-5 and there to be three red cards and a goal off the ref's arse

They'll likely be out if they dont win... Reckon you could get:

    Germany v Sweden (Draw)
Mexico v South Korea (Mexico Win)

Would mean that Germany have to beat South Korea and hope that Mexico and Sweden dont decide to spent 90-mins passing it around the centre circle.

Only advantage they'd have in that scenario is the fact that neither might want to play out a draw as one of them would be faced with the prospect of Brazil

Boyata is a huge step down from Kompany and I'd be interested to see if he sticks with Carrasco as a left wing back against a stronger team.

Other than that, not bad I suppose.

have to say its quite something of a team when you have build up to a game and don't even have time to mention Eden Hazard

Its incredible really, 4 years isnt that long really, if they were predicting 8 or 12 years then its understandable
