Don’t think it’s sunk in yet. My whole body is shaking with pride, what a team and what a manager. Just wow.

Our semi final is at the same stadium that will host the final... only a 30 hour drive from London to Moscow according to Google!

Well done England. So nice to watch a match without cheating and playacting.

Just saw a shot of Southgate way up in the stands singing with the fans. Anyone else see that?

Absolutely brilliant and it feels surreal to now be in the semi-finals after so many years of disappointment. 1966 and even 1990 are so mythical that I can't believe we are now in the same territory...

We finally showed we can be dangerous from open play. Feel like the team are growing at the right time. They're so composed and assured. Even when the game was over they looked relaxed and unsurprised. Unlike any England team I've ever seen. It's unreal. Well done boys.

    It was Sweden..
A team who knocked out the Netherlands, Italy and Germany and beat France in the qualifiers as well and we beat them comfortably.

We made that look easy. Well done England. Completely worked Sweden out and never looked out of 3rd gear. Great stuff.

Much prefer having bookings only wiped after the QF. More chance of getting a suspension, but means that you don't get brilliant players picking up yellow cards in the QF and SF and missing the biggest game of their career.

Same here. It feels fantastic to be in a WC semi final again. Absolutely fan fucking tastic.
Funny how we do best when we have a manager who comes across trying to be a gentleman. 1966, 1990, 2018. (Even if Alf did come from Dagenham)
  • Only 20 years old, and I know this is silly because you have no idea what calibre of players are going to come out of this country from now, but feels like the best chance I'll ever get to see us do this.

It's completely taken over the nation.

Every bar/pub you go in to it is all anybody is talking about. It doesn't matter what team you support, everybody loves eachother.

Never felt so proud to be English, and never felt so at home in my home country. It's special, really special - drink it in.

Played well against a team that are difficult to beat. First game I actually felt quite comfortable through.

    Buzzing mate
  • Got the feel of 96

With the exception of brexit I cant think of anything more satisfying since that era
  • Wow that was good, thought we bossed the game.

    We’re in Carcassonne , France.
The guy in concierge found us a bar showing the match, great news, only to find out it was a stream over the net, signal cut out a few times during the match, oh my days ‘‘twas bleeding tense.

Couldn’t celebrate too hard as there was a guy wearing a Swedon shirt close by.

Lionel the Barman kept s steady stream of Amstels coming ( I knew he’d finally show up in the World Cup!)

I can’t believe we’re in the semi finals!!!

Eurostar doesn’t get back into London till 8 o clock Wednesday night, which means we’ll probably miss the first half.

When we booked this the wife said to me, you do realise the World Cup will be on, at which point I said , yeah it’s all right, we won’t do anything!

Got me England bunting on the balcony, England shirt on, and have also packed a massive England Flag, going to take it down into the town tonight and let the Frenchies know it’s coming home!!
