He should. Be a good 25 + years since football has had a Roy of the Rovers type player manager.ValleyGary said:
Also he could play in that league for another 15 years and still probably cut it.3 -

Nowhere near the defender mate. He hooks his foot round, I dunno how much he meant it but it looks quality.ForeverAddickted said:

Gerrard misses the ball, it strikes the defender on the thigh and Gerrard collects the ball, watch it in fullscreen1

Not so sure, if thats the case how did he know exactly where the ball was going? He reacts immediately and follows the exact path of the ball, if it came off the defender it could have gone anywhere....sam3110 said:Gerrard misses the ball, it strikes the defender on the thigh and Gerrard collects the ball, watch it in fullscreen

It's this Clint Hilly bloke who tweeted it that needs disciplining. "What a fucking touch from the gaffer. Sign yourself, Stevie. Fucking hell."ValleyGary said:Well I never. I feel like I need to flag myself.
I saw his tweet and thought the same as you - Gerrard's pulled off some sort of incredible 360 degree thing. In actual fact, we've just watched a hapless defender fail to control a straightforward pass, and then a scouse bloke managing not to nick anything, glass a DJ or slip over and cost his team the title. Pretty unremarkable. Really, Gerrard should be getting a slating for the fact that he's been in charge of Rangers for two or three months, and he's got players in his squad who still haven't mastered the most basic principles of ball control.5 -
