solly was still a kid and quite inexperienced before powell came in. Hard to say, i think waggy and jacko were the only two regulars that stayed after that summer. Maybe matt taylor or michael morrison. Taylor was experienced and powell already knew morrison from leicester.Chizz said:

There was a detailed interview with him either in the trust news or VOTV a while back where he talked about the preparation going into that season. He mentioned that the first couple of pre season games he used different captains to see who reacted and how. I believe he listed Taylor Solly and one other as options. Can't remember who - may have been Hollands?Chizz said:
