Anyone see the advert in today's Metro for Wet spam's forthcoming league cup tie against Macclesfield?
Advertising cheap tickets (all kids £5, adults from £10), it does so under the banner "Continuing to honour our commitment of affordable family football in our community"
Yea right. I bet they would have charged those prices if they were playing Man Utd!0 -
Well here's a thing. West Ham have been "having a Meire" with their attendance figures...

Given that the taxpayer is paying for police/stewarding etc and probably has to go on a ratio calculated upon the number of fans going to the matches, is West Ham’s overstatement of the actual attendance costing extra unnecessary expense ?PragueAddick said:Well here's a thing. Not often I agree with Gold but I think he's spot on with this. The irony of his "We are all trying to pay less" comment is probably lost on him though. The Red Robin said:2 -
Talksport currently chatting about whu and they seem to be saying the Chairman there gets the team sheet before the whu players find out who is playing1

Did he update on the prices of the 12" black double ended rubber cocks?5

It's always leaked on Twitter about two hours before kick-off so makes sense.letthegoodtimesroll said:Talksport currently chatting about whu and they seem to be saying the Chairman there gets the team sheet before the whu players find out who is playing

Charities were robbed to pay for the Olympic Games in London the Directory of Social Change (DSC) has charged.
The directory says that in 2007 the Government took £425 million in National Lottery revenue from the Big Lottery Fund to help finance the Olympics, including construction of venues in the Olympic Park.
Ministers promised to repay the money from the sale of Olympic assets.
But, says DSC, these are now owned by the London Legacy Development Corporation. Just £57.5m has been recouped, and at the current rate it will take 30 yrs for the money to be repaid.
DSC said “Thousands of communities and good causes across the country cannot access money that was in effect donated to them, in good faith, by the public through the sales of lottery tickets”.10 - Sponsored links:

We pay for hospitality staff who work in the corporate boxes at the stadium, while West Ham take the profit from those boxes.0

It seems that there has been another meeting at the GLA today...Caroline Pidgeon, our most consistent political supporter, has been tweeting about it; some likes and retweets will be welcome

Looks likely that ITN are going to run this story tomorrow. I am due to meet them at City Hall, in good time for the Baroness's appearance before the GLA. I've already suggested that it would be great if I could put our solution to the Baroness live on camera....21

Look forward to hearing all about it , PA.
Good luck.3 -
