1:52PM in General Charlton
Our U23s are in action against @WatfordFC this afternoon (2pm). Here’s how @jasoneuell’s team will line-up…
XI: Maynard-Brewer, Stevenson, Birch, Cummings, Blumberg, Maloney, Sarpong-Wiredu, Dempsey, Morgan, Ocran, Anderson.
Subs: Osaghae, Zemura, Carey, Baghuelou. #cafc0 -
@charltonnick @GlassHalfFull
I see Joseph Osaghae, who's dad came up to the museum on Saturday, is on the bench.

No Dan Bowry despite him coming back from loan0
-
Does our back four consist of four centre-backs? (And that is without Yao and Bowry).0
-
Much younger team that last week, with no injured players returning. I'm surprised Ajose isn't in the squad, seeing that he's been injured and didn't get any match time on Saturday1

If were to get injured can we recall Umerah or RHF?killerandflash said:Much younger team that last week, with no injured players returning. I'm surprised Ajose isn't in the squad, seeing that he's been injured and didn't get any match time on Saturday

Is Jordan Beeney still with Charlton? He is currently the goal keeper at my local team (Herne Bay) - but not sure if its a loan?0

TransferMarkt seems to suggest he's left...cafc-west said:Is Jordan Beeney still with Charlton? He is currently the goal keeper at my local team (Herne Bay) - but not sure if its a loan?

At the game . Very drab scoreless half. No one impressing.0

Cheers @ForeverAddickted - think you are right. Strange the OS still has this: https://www.cafc.co.uk/team/player/59492bc17c217/profileForeverAddickted said:

A dreadful match on a bumpy pitch, which bottom of the table Watford deserved to win. I was disappointed with both Morgan and Maloney who appeared to be going through the motions and looked as though neither wanted to be there.
Watford hit the inside of the post in the second half and were thwarted by some excellent blocks by Cummings and Maloney. Having said that neither keeper had a notable save to make.
I always enjoy watch Brendan SW play. A very laboured style, but surprisingly for a tall guy he is a magician with the ball at his feet. The match was attended by Lapslie, Mascoll and Bowry.
A match to forget.3 -

Millwall say it is a 'behind closed doors' affair.
Last week the Charlton game was surprisingly switched, without any notice that I could find, from Sparrows Lane to Greenwich Borough.
Had I known I would have gone because some on here know that I am an interested watcher, and I report back on this level of football at our club.
Sadly for me I am barred from Sparrows lane, the comms team don't apparently tell us of venue changes, and now Millwall themselves ban spectators.
It is a shame for me because I have given some feedback on games at this level going back over 40 years.2 -
Why are you barred from Sparrows Lane?seth plum said:Millwall say it is a 'behind closed doors' affair.

I always keep an eye on the CAFC website under 23 fixture list for any changes, last weeks game was changed to Greenwich Borough a few days before, todays game is listed as a 13.00 ko, whereas the kick-off has been listed on Millwall's site as 13.30.seth plum said:Millwall say it is a 'behind closed doors' affair.

I was going to go to the game today & have been checking both clubs websites for information & luckily Millwall at least provided the news that the games is 'behind closed doors'.
It seems most clubs seem to cover their under 23 teams a lot better than us.0 -
Not a season ticket holder for the last two seasons after 44 successive years with one.
Therefore not allowed in Sparrows Lane.2 -

Anyone know what has happened to Doughty and Morgan?0
-
Presumably they don't play because they might be needed tomorrow? Doesn't explain Marshall though.Covered_End_Lad said:Anyone know what has happened to Doughty and Morgan?

Think Marshall is just too rusty for the first team at the moment. Needs some game time.seth plum said:
