Great for Trott to get a ton in his penultimate matchBriston_Addick said:Warwickshire now collapsing.
371-4, Trott the latest to go.
Trott, Collingwood, Tredders, some good players retiring this year3 -
Fingers crossed that Trott does a Bradman in his final match, preferably in both innings not just his last.killerandflash said:

Fabian Cowdrey seems to be having a bit of a dig at the Kent management:

Two batting points!

Kent have never been good at bringing through fast bowlers. I suppose the flip side to those failures is someone like Podmore who's been a great success this seasonAddick Addict said:Fabian Cowdrey seems to be having a bit of a dig at the Kent management:

Masters was probably the last but he had most of his success elsewhere. Coles might be aggrieved not to be mentioned...killerandflash said:

Billings goes to 50.This situation is perfect for him. Flattish pitch, tired and innocuous bowlers3

Forgot about Coles!LenGlover said:killerandflash said:

We've had a couple of decent all rounders. Ellison and Ealham, but the pace bowling department is pretty empty. Elegant batsmen and wicket keepers are more our speciality!0 -
Jury is still out on Thomas but he could still, providing injuries don't continue to dog him, turn out to be a decent fast bowler.
I was going to say that, on the other hand, we have produced a succession of decent keepers but that was rather broken by the likes of Jones, Nixon and Rouse. Billlings has and Ollie Robinson hopefully will enhance our reputation for doing so.0 -
These two are motoring along, another 15 overs of this will put us out of sight.0
-
The lead is above 100 now
288-51 -
Looking good.0

Jones was "made into a Test player" at Kent though. Indeed maybe the Kent factor helped him get a call up for EnglandAddick Addict said:Jury is still out on Thomas but he could still, providing injuries don't continue to dog him, turn out to be a decent fast bowler.

Warwickshire collapsed to 440 all out from 430-6.
Maybe something in the pitch? Archer took all 4 perhaps his pace was too much for the tail.0 -
Crawley out for 1680
