I can see why we’d be attractive to young players given our track record in recent years but if he’s already getting interest from Chelsea and Ajax, there’s exactly zero chance he comes to SE7.

I have been disappointed. There has been an opportunity for a young defender this season.

Interesting that it says the left back will likely be a loan because we’ll be extending Page’s contract. Depending on the quality of the left back and if a permanent transfer was a possibility, would it be worth trying and letting Page go at the end of his deal.

Decent enough player but he can’t stay fit.
