Nope - Lapslie unfortunately will have to return to the U23s | FA Cup | Football League Trophy, would still have him ahead of Marshall though who I think I'd sell in January

Can't see us starting with a midfield four like that very often - too lightweight for a Bowyer team. Pratley will play more often than not, with Clarke or Aribo dropping to the bench. In that scenario I'd leave out Reeves and put Lapslie on the bench.

As others have said though, someone is always going to be injured and Lapslie is likely going to clock up well over 20 appearances in total this season (as long as he stay fit himself), which would be a very healthy number for a breakthrough season.

And that is of course assuming that the injury has not taken too great a toll on Clarke - something which is far from a certainty.

Excellent!!... Was a bit worried when he didnt play for the U23s this week and wondered when that first appearance would be

Brilliant news, I look forward to seeing him back very soon.

Hopefully, he will be ready to play a small part in the upcoming cup matches in November.

a very timely return given the injury situation.

thought during his first 10 games for us he was the stand out player, nothing spectacular (a bit of a Graham Stuart I think) but very comfortable on the ball and a clever player

Given our recent run of injuries I don't think this is the sort of language Lord Bowyer should be using.

We've covered head, shoulders, knees, and toes (knees and toes) so the last thing we need is "the back bone is disconnected from the hip bone" ...

Just couldnt imagine London solely getting behind Charlton if we made it to the Quarter-Finals.

Guessing he's referring to those cup runs he went on with Bradford though

Whilst people lamenting the run of games we have coming up, I think this is a great opportunity for Billy to regain his fitness rather than playing in u23 games.
