You horrible little man, this isn't funny.Mametz said:
He hasn’t given any date for his departure has he? He has also intimated in the past that those who attend games support what he is doing with club.razil said:
Yes but he is going, you cant really doubt it, and whatever we say it will be on his terms. So why punish ourselves, and risk the club and its support dying off even further?LargeAddick said:‘He’s going now’? Like he’s been going since he first instructed people to find buyers over two years ago. If he wanted to he could go tomorrow. But he won’t. The blokes a grade A shitweasal. Just fuck off you senile old scroat.
Perhaps we boycotters could club together to buy him a helicopter ride for his birthday next month.4 -
Hi Roland!5

As a boycotter I have to say that I have hurt far less since I stopped going. It was painful to endure. Saying he wants to sell is not the same as selling. Unless he gets real on the price he's stuck with the club. I won't give him another bean because I want that whopping loss to be as big as possible to teach the arrogant bastard a huge lesson and cause him some of the humiliation he has made us suffer and the opprobrium he will get back home when others who have suffered because of him can also enjoy the last laugh. £70m debt this season - it would be great to see him have to swallow £50m of that in due course.razil said:
I do think it's a shame to continue boycotting though, he's going now and the only people hurting from that are ourselves including some of the fine CL members above.8 -
He still genuinely thinks his vision could have worked...0

Dissing Chris Wilder.0
-
Roland now that we know you read Charlton Life "Please do us a favour and sell the club".0
-
JW allowing Roland to drive the interview, reading out bits that RD selects - disappointing for me sounds like JW hasn't done his homework.1

Charlton Life gets a name check.

Interview ends - jeez. So essentially it’s the fault of the comms team & the fans0

This Chris Wilder stuff is simply fantastic stuff.
Someone ask Wilder if the fans put him off, and not the immediate offer of a job at his hometown club that he supports.25 -
I hope someone can get this in front of Chris Wilder, because I'm almost certain that's not true. Signed a contract and then went missing the day of the press conference? Surely that would have been very common knowledge and Wilder wouldn't have been able to waltz off to Sheff Utd so quickly with a signed contract keeping him at Charlton. Sounds a bit slanderous to me.NorthStandUltra said:Roland has brushed over all managers up to Chris Wilder - who agreed to come to Charlton, he signed a contract but he failed to show up on the day of his press conference.
Charlton Life getting a mention26 -
Bob Mills nailing it again0

I don't know if Roland has heard of the sunk cost fallacy, but this is exactly what is happening to him right now.
One of the big rules of being as rich as he is, surely, is not to let this sort of stuff get personal?! You lose money, then sell cheap and let it become "someone else's problem". You're not getting money back you deluded freak, so just get rid of what you perceive to be a sinking asset.
@blackpool72 do the honours?6 -
Having listened to 10 mins, apart from poor communication he won't take any blame for what has happened. Also they way he responded to "just sell the club" being a billionaire says it all. Cleary a lie because you or I would be happy to sell something cheaply just to get rid of it.0

We should all turn up on Saturday with banners stating " I AM Charlton Life ! "
Or " Charlton Lifer - Loud and Proud !"2 -
Gray immediately picks up on Roland saying he is not to blame.
Respect to him.1 -
"Gutted for the supporters" my arse. Gutted for the complete horlicks he has made of it and the £30-50m loss he's going to take.1

It is our fault that Chris Wilder didn't come to the club apperently. Didn't stop the scouser though?? Also I seem to remember he had the offer of Sheff Utd his boyhood club.0
-
Off mic Roland is gutted for the supporters.
This is actually a man who bleeds empathy obviously.1 -
As Bob Mills rightly said, he's gutted that the fans care so much for something that he couldn't give a fu*k about.Cardinal Sin said:"Gutted for the supporters" my arse. Gutted for the complete horlicks he has made of it and the £30-50m loss he's going to take.

Didn't think that RD could go any lower in my estimation but he has managed it.
He lies as well as Meire.
He has been trying to sell for over a year and the price does not matter. What a load of bollocks. If that was the case the club would have been sold a year ago.
I wonder if he actually believes the shit that he comes out with.5 -
White did well there. Total crap from the Belgian but did we expect anything less.3
-
Tried to get on, but don't think the guy taking the calls will call me back. He didn't appear to have any idea of what I was talking about (Chris Wilder, Sheffield United...). Soinded like an intern. Pity, because I think Jim White has done a good job there.3

How can you expect to make a success of a business if 2% of a working day is a generous 20 mins!
If price isn't the issue, what is? CARD ceases to exist if he sells - surely, so it can't be the protests??1
