    Did @paulie8290 offload his ticket?

Come on @iainment you're slacking

    ?
Just being mischievous and referring back to you suggesting updates of a meeting were a bit slow a while ago.
  • Has Solly come dressed as an Italian gangster form Peaky Blinders?

“What’s the highlight of your career?”
Actually no, now if Danny Green was there we may have had something to talk about haha.

It was actually about Sollys knee

Interestingly with his knee, he said he had an operation towards the end of last season to remove a bit of cartlige that had bren causing issues the previous 18 months and now that he gone he thinks he is over is knee issue(he said he still manages his training but is confident he will be fine)

Thoroughly enjoyable evening had by all. Nice bit of nostalgia and good to see Chris Solly showing a bit of his character and sense of humour - a side most don’t often get to see as he’s normally such a quiet and reserved chap.

    I really enjoyed myself

Had the event been held anywhere else, he might of got a mention, these boys have too much class to slag him off on his own doorstep.

My first at this type of event and I loved the comment regarding Solly's tackle on Taylor at the Den.

Solly was very dry but very funny with it. Good evening

Very enjoyable evening with some good laughs and stories told. Obviously we were all at The Valley last night for Sols, which was great, but you could see how much love everyone still has for Powell. If I am being a little picky, the only thing I would say would be it could’ve been more focused on Solly including the questions. It was still a fantastic evening but a lot was spoken about the incredible 2011/12 season and not as much on Solly and some stories on him.

Probably sounds like I’m having a bit of a moan, but I’m not, it was very good and all four, and Keith Peacock and Tracey Leaburn, are what our club is all about.

That the ball was bouncing nicely and he knew he could into the challenge and come away with the ball but also really hurt him at the same time. He said he remembers it clearly and that he really enjoyed the tackle. It was Peacock who brought it up originally saying how it was a good old fashioned challenge and nice to see our players doing it and not on the recieving end. Sols also said that Stephens and Taylor are good mates from their days at Oldham, so at the end of the game Solly went up to him to make sure he was okay, he said he was, but on the Monday after the game, there was a piece in the newspaper how he thought it was the worst tackle he has ever had on him.

Very funny but also Solly showed last night that he really doesn’t like Millwall or Gillingham for that matter.

Both Hamer and Hughes were signed on August 1st 2011, the players had already been to Lepe by then and come back home before the new season.

Out of the 8, we know Jackson was one of them and I’d assume Morrison was too, Robbie Elliott was let slip too. Unsure on who the remaining 5 would be, but I guess we would never know.

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott tonight or a night at The Valley. Albert Hall wins it methinks. Though all updates on SCP's views on our Belgian friends will be most welcome!

Ditto for me, Albert Hall win
