We have sold Grigg to Sunderland.

Noo we've made a purchase in Greggs
  • Sounds like we missed out on all of our targets and Josh is a body in because we massively had to get someone.

Oh ye of little faith !

In Lee & Steve I trust.
  • Will Grigg to Sunderland is almost done

I know we all get caught up with it but i do struggle to understand some people’s expectations.

Sunderland have a new ownership, are actively looking to progress, and got nearly 50,000 through their gates a few weeks ago.

We have an owner looking to sell, to reduce costs, we get just a couple of thousand tops Matchday ticket sales, with a lot of those going under dodgy kids tickets.

It’s massively frustrating but it’s obvious what the policy will be here at the mo and there is no logic to think we’d be paying ANYTHING for players.

I'm really hoping Parker was signed cos we let Clarke leave.

Bowyer and Gallen been talking about a loan striker so still think that might happen.

If no more signings, very concerned that Grant and Clarke out and only Parker in. Looking at what others have brought in, chance of auto is gone. Guess we’re looking at 5th or 6th by May.

How about the Belgian gives us a fighting chance.

pave the way for eisa / elsa on loan whatever his name is?
  • If he is only one then I am gutted. If he is bench and impact sub that’s a different story

If we get a loan in now then @doucher def deserves people to lay off him

Why? The south London press reported grant out, two in on Saturday night. 5 year olds can copy and paste
But when they changed story he has always said he is still being told 2

Why they’re likely to be in a position for top 2 after played games in hand and we won’t be

    Only a 6 month contract.

Really stretches the term permanent. It's basically a loan except he's out of a job at the end of it

Fucks me off when Sky ticker is all about Michy from Chelsea to Palarse and we get a 14 goals in 70 games “striker”...

I get he is selling but ambition from Roland = -10 out of 10 after getting 2 million quid for Grant

He is obviously a far better businessman than me but .....

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

perhaps both wanted out .. if so, why keep them ?
  • Classic Roland
  • 24 Goals in 150 odd appearances for his clubs apparently, Parker is proper Charlton with those numbers

Gallen saying on CAFC player that still hoping for another tonight

But then he hasn't been played as a striker in most of those matches I presume
  • Just waiting for the "couldn't get the second deal over the line" tweet.
  • And we know what will come, we tried to get one over the line but couldn’t

I am told that bowyer will get all the money from the sale - if it happens - and ultimately it is bowyers call - he could say no but then you would have a player on your hands who has just lost out on over 3 times the wages he is currently being offered - the wages offered are at the top limit of the wage structure - the alternative is to bring in 2 strikers and i back gallen and bowyer to get this right when they bring in the replacements. If they can't get what they think is right with regards to replacements then i doubt they will let him go and may instead take the deal from rangers which involves him staying but only goes through in the summer if he isn't injured. Not all done and dusted yet

    Pot kettle..
