I am actually quite optimistic about today, and the rest of the season. I would say our defence and midfield are as good, if not better than last year, and would rather have Taylor, Igor, Parker and RHF than josh, Ajose and zylo, which were our options last season.0

Glad I didn't post that.....I'd had got pelters....addick05 said:
Regards the midfield. I said much the same thing yesterday. Nowhere near enough goals coming from them. Just whose going to score? Hope I'm wrong but until Taylor is back I can see '0' in the 'goals for' column.Henry Irving said:Don't think Reeco is a lone striker nor that there is enough width in that midfield.
Our midfield have underperformed in terms of goals.
Now with no Grant or Taylor they badly need to step up.
Who is our penalty taker? Igor has taken them but on bench. Lapslie?3 -
If it is a 4231, we need the 3 attacking midfielders to really push on, problem is, Lapslie, Reeves and Williams isn't the most dynamic, attacking set of players0

I liked what I saw of Recco. Our version of Rashford.3

that looks to be about the best available line up .. settled defence, lively midfield .. we will see how Fairchild shapes up given his first 90 mins .. all to play for .. don't let mouthy Wallace, the midget Scot upset you chaps0

Really surprised to see Paul Jones still playing (On the Fleetwood Subs bench today)
Still remember seeing his name in the Charlton Programme when he was coming through as an Academy Goalkeeper for us2 -

Reeco looked like a natural goal scorer with the brace he got against Swansea in the Micky Mouse cup last season. Come on boy you can do it!1

KICK-OFF | 1' We are off and underway at Highbury Stadium.
The hosts won the toss and have turned the Addicks around so we attack the travelling fans, but we are facing into the bright sun.
