  • Also, thanks @ross1 superb updates as always and really appreciated for those with no stream or access to Soccer Saturday (Although doubtful they go to our games very often these days).

Does bowyer miss next game or is it just a fine?
Think it's touch line ban 1 game. Could be wrong.

Really needed that win!  Fingers crossed it’s a bit of momentum now as we approach the home straight.  Really pleased for Sarr and the cult figure he’s becoming.  Have a feeling he could nick Poty if he carries on like this
  • Big big win , in the context of where our season was heading .
Now it’s play offs guaranteed and we just need to keep a nice momentum and get that Vetokele back  who first joined us and the chances of being play off winners will increase dramatically.

    PWR.
Watched on LT's silent, grainy freeze/unfreeze stream which actually I thought was marvellous.

Don't blame it on the sunshine, blame it on the Naby.

Maybe I got obsessed with it but the low winter sun was working against us first half, and for us second. I don't have a crystal clear idea about Wimbledon's goal and our winner, but they both seemed like a scrambled situation in the sunshine sweet spot.

Having said that, for all Wimbledon's eagerness, and goal first half, we weren't dominated and Taylor should have scored with a great chance, and we had plenty of approach play. Second half was like the Alamo for them, and if it wasn't sunshine that helped us it was certainly willpower and no little skill, and also willingness to compete as much as them and we simply had the better players.

I don't know the general opinion about Taylor's performance but I liked it. He is a pain left right and centre, but always a threat, and he distracts so much he allows teammates to get plenty of ball relatively unchallenged. For me Taylor is a good today.

Bowyer got sent off for being gobby twice when he really should have let it go, it wasn't a disputed goal or penalty he was going on about, and ultimately Solly can sort his own problems, Solly himself is no mug or shrinking violet. Still Jacko made good substitutions, theirs had no effect whatsoever, ours upped the second half pressure to eleven.

For the players, a natty cap worn by Dillon, don't know if he was culpable for their goal, I don't think so, and otherwise he played very well especially in his general match and team awareness.
Solly and Purrington were very decent averages, Bauer strong and dominant, and Naby. Got booked, looked a colossus, and scored!
The screen made Naby's free kick look like a delicate, purposeful pass into the goal, so unopposed I at first thought there had been a whistle for something. What a splendid happenstance was that though! Get in!

I thought George worked hard, but positionally he seemed to be increasingly lost as the game progressed, decent though, and had a very solid shot blocked. Cullen was excellent, no more need be said. Getting used to Williams a bit more now, he likes to get it, turn and scurry at top speed, a difficult opponent for anybody and very much sweating the willpower second half. Marshall should have scored, subbed because he had been booked and was a risk.

Aribo nearly at his spidery best, but a bit in and out, loads of skill all the time, I like the nerve he shows when refusing to simply lump it. The subs all did well naturally, and we didn't diminish at all having made them, but improved.

No sound, but I suspect we had a pretty merry crowd and the atmosphere was good. Actually the atmosphere is always good when you win, with the added glory of a Naby goal I reckon it was special.

Crap first half, but the entire second half was better. Marshall missed 2 great chances in quick succession and was rightly replaced by Fosu. Switching Williams to the right seemed to work wonders.

Great atmosphere from the travelling fans, despite the fact that we couldn't see half the. If you didn't have the sun in your eyes, you caught the glare off the top of the dugout.

Beaten our bogey side twice now, and got a much needed win with 2 really tough games coming up.

Is it worth saying that we looked a lot better after Bowyer went off!

We were generally poor, especially first half, but we needed it.
Well done to Nabs and Aribo played well in second half.

I thought we looked more dangerous when Lapslie came off. Williams and Aribo took up the slack and Fosu gave us more offensive bite.

Poor performance and the win shouldn't hide the cracks. Was certainly better second half but hardly promotion form. Would be nice if it could get our momentum back as we will need to play a lot better in the next 2 games.
    Sarr continues to improve.
    Can't see what Williams adds.
Not sure why people are complaining about the ref. Thought he was probably the best we have had this year. His most obvious errors were probably not booking Sarr in the first half and Solly in the second. I just hope Sarr would have had the sense not to then make that challenge in the second half for which he rightly got booked.

I think the team that ended the match showed the way we need to go.

    At the match.
Met a few lifers in the Watchman before the game which is always nice.
As for the game itself we were set up all wrong with only one up front and a packed midfield of midgets.
One nil down at half time and I would of settled for a draw tbf.
But then up steps the Nabster with that free kick.he is fast becoming my favourite player.absolutely love him.
Last 15 minutes of the match was by far our best spell of the game and when Igor scored it sparked great celebrations in our side of the ground .
Other results went our way today and I shall be heading to Doncaster next Saturday in a positive mood.
Despite being owned by Shitweasel we still have a great chance of the playoffs and then anything can happen.
Until then let's all try and stay positive.

Put a tenner on at half time for a 1-2 at 8’s

    Happy days

    also put a tenner on a 1-3 at 35’s

Welk that was just a shite bet!

I’m thinking that the likes of Fosu and Vetokele may be better suited coming off the bench moving forward.  Vetokele because I don’t think he adds enough over 90 mins, and Fosu because of his pace when the game is stretched

He was interviewed on BBC London and said the first yellow was for complaining, as the ref apparently told Solly, 'yes, you were fouled', but he didn't give it.
He said the the second yellow was for saying 'well done'.

So we start off toothless and change to a team that genuinely threatens the opposition's goal in the second half?

I think he called the ref a fucking wanker (sorry AFKA) but as I was there I couldn't be sure.

First half was truly dreadful. Second half we dominated and deserved the win. Just left Wimbledon and off to meet my Millwall mate. Brilliant.
  • Do we know if Parker was injured or dropped?

I don't think a single game goes by where people aren't complaining about the ref. It's a bit ridiculous tbh.
