Having stood next to drummer boy at Donny, I can say it almost made me deaf but as the game wore on I appreciated his efforts to keep the fans going. I think it's a good thing to stimulate the fans to keep singing. Don't think we had him at some other games I've been to and our fans were quieter for longer periods.charltonnick said:Nothing to add on the match report but I must say Plymouth fans were great. it seems as though we are 'toughening up' for the play offs .. 5 yellow cards and 19 fouls given against us .. no repeat then of last season when Shrewsbury outfought us in the semis.
Collins of Luton was sent off on Saturday .. that should make things a lot easier next Saturday

thought this was the game where we lost, and to my surprise we didn't, lovely to keep a clean sheet but i would like us to go a goal down and come back as may prep us better for playoffs, our run to the play offs bar luton are against lower teams, tomorrows match will be difficult as they are scrapping for survival and the game after that is against a team looking to win the league, the next 2 games will be the toughest of the run in.
oxford - are safe nothing to play for.
scunthorpe - depending on results could be out of the relegation scrap
gills - are safe nothing to play for apart from being a local side
rochdale - probably already down so nothing to play for

The latter have a game in hand on everyone around them and if they win that against Accrington tomorrow night then they go joint points with Scunthorpe and will be in 19th provided that we beat Wycombe ourselves
Wouldnt even say that Gillingham are safe yet; they're up in 13th yet only five points ahead of Wimbledon
If Rochdale are still in with a shot of safety come the last day I wonder if SKY will be tempted to show their last game again for a repeat of last year...2 -
Their 19, Ladapo was a handful .. he has been around the block of clubs more than a few times .. he's 26, and has found consistency at Plymouth .. he would complement Taylor superbly ..0

Taylor: 7.5 took the goal well. Collected the ball at took it at them a number of times, definitely a crowd pleaser keeping in the corner at the end, he's not Tony Watt yet though...0 -

Ok he gave yellow cards that possibly others wouldn't, but at least he was consistent with the first yellow cards.

I thought he was incredibly inconsistent. A yellow is a yellow regardless of whether it is first or second. Once he set the bar low he should have kept it (mind you we would probably have been down to 8 players by half time...)Dazzler21 said:

I'm also at a loss how their player got away with placing both hands on the ref's shoulders and pushing him when complaining that he had (incorrectly) given a goal kick when Phillips had touched the ball over.
Surely even the most lenient of refs would have brandished a yellow then and he would be very lucky not to be sent off?5 -
