I knew he was a good player and makes decent breaks but has surpassed all expectations, he has kicked onto a new level and I am impressed how both him and Gilbert have handled each round considering its a new situation for both of them. Would be nice to see one of them 2 win it.

Dave has won both opening sessions 5-3, if he can repeat that tonight he will be 2 frames away from a place in the final, even if they come out tonight and share the frames Dave will still only be 3 away and in a great position
Trump is lucky he wasnt blown away today i felt he was not playing well at all but somehow managed to stay in it and keep pinching a few frames. Hes now somehow leading 7-6
Agreed what I have seen Trump was lucky at 6-6, 9-7 Trump now but still only half way through the battle, would be nice to see Wilson prevail. Wilson/Gilbert final would be incredible!

Poor old John’s head has gone a bit (whose wouldn’t) - not sure anyone can pull that back. Suspect it’ll make the evening session but will be a short one.
