    Was there any note on what McGeady’s injury was? He’s the only player above league one quality that Sunderland have imo.

    Shame. Wanted that to go to ET but it'll do. Had we beat them first game of the season and we beat Donny tomorrow we would still be playing them in the final.

    For those who remember last season - Shrewsbury reached the Checkatrade Trophy Final AND Play-Off Final... they lost both games

    Plus 5th place is the worst place to get promotion from in the history of the Play-Offs, its had the least winners

    2006 was the last time 5th got promoted
    2015 was the last time 3rd went up
    2017 was the last time 6th went up

    Few of my pompey mates left as I came into work this afternoon and they wernt confident at all...

    I still think we should have an IPL type of play off. Where 3rd plays 4th then the winner goes into the final, 5th plays 6th and the winner plays the loser of the 3rd/4th game, the higher team has home advantage.
