It's all very well guaranteeing that the big countries (India really) are involved for 9 matches, but it's a bizarre way of holding a tournament really, with only 3 actual knockout matches out of 48 fixtures.
I get KAFs point, but feel this is the most logical way to ensure the best 4 teams get to the semis (weather permitting of course).0 -
South Africa v India tomorrow.1
-
-
SA win the toss and will bat
With Steyn out of the tournament and Ngidi injured too Shamsi comes in0 -
SA 11-1 Amla gone
Have to say Bumrah is looking unplayable in these conditions0 -
Bumrah gets De Kock too
26-2
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but really not sure that FDP made the right call to bat. India's top 3 get 51% of their runs and knocking back a couple of those early would have given them a real chance.1 -

The wicket is a bit spiteful too in parts causing unexpected tennis ball bounce - which isn't fun at 85mph plus!0

Dropping Markram is a wild call. Makes no sense0

Woeful batting but great bowling

If we are going to win the WC, India are the team that needs beating more than any other.0

The woes continue 89-5
And THE most awful review of all time0 -

Concidering they were 158 for 7 this is a pretty good effort from the Saffers.
Probably about 50 short of what they would have liked but get a couple of wickets early on and we just might have a game on our hands.1 -
227-9 50 overs.
Now turn over to Sky Sports Cricket0 -
