How do we know? He’s never played for us .NapaAddick said:Well, as much as I adore Bauer, I think pound for pound, if Preston are paying anything like £8k, we are better off with Lockyer at the likely £2500-4000/week we got him for. Even with a new owner, not sure I would have matched Preston at 8k/week. I would rather have spent the difference trying to keep Aribo.9 -

The BFG is owed big-style for the Keith Stroud disallowed goal. We all know it but most important so does he. This is an open wound, salted by Tex's red card. No, I'm not bitter ....

We laugh at palaces rivalry with brighton which is an hour plus away from them
and yet some of our fans want to claim no.1 rivalry is with them and they’re an hour plus away from us and more Surrey ...
south east London we are and so are the scum not this Croydon mob.6 -
He'll probably be marking Jake Cooper or Matt Smith at corners, both of whom are bigger than him, so not an easy start to the season.

Sounds like an absolute knob tbf.NapaAddick said:4 -
That's a bold way to welcome your new signing. Come back Pat. Come back now where putting in a poor performance against Millwall is the norm8
-
Come back to Charlton where he'll have a Manager who'll bloody appreciate him4

Feckin disrespectful IMO.NapaAddick said:

To be fair Bowyer did it to Bielik and someone else last season - Although on that occasion it was after about 15 games not onekillerandflash said:

Very disrespectful to say the least. He must have had a very poor game.

He should have stayed at The Valley.1

No sympathy from me1
-
He's lower Championship standard at best.3

Early doors to judge just yet but if his manager is giving him that little time to settle it just shows the grass isn't always greener. Paddy was adored here3

This Lancashire paper thought Bauer played well, which makes the comments of Neil quite puzzlingPatrick Bauer 7 - Had a decent battle with Matt Smith and won his fair share of headers. Can be pleased with his PNE debut - starman.
Rudd on the other hand only got a 5. Now got a terrible beard too!

I think the manager was pressed on any positives at all, and all they have to go on is Bauer playing well.
And from what I can see - he didn’t want to dwell on any positives at all after the result and BFG gets thrown under the bus0 -
Was at the Valley today and noticed that Patrick was back and driving a vintage car bought with his Preston wages. 10
