I despise Roland but Dale is on another level. You can say what you like about Roland but at least he’s not a crook and a chancer.Covered End said:
So I read that as Dale contrived with his daughter's partner, to pay £70K for the debt (1%) and is now seeking a £1.75M pay out.ForeverAddickted said:
If true they should be locked up.5 -
Fook me.ForeverAddickted said:Random Twitter comment has just said that its Fawaz Al Hasawi (ex-Nottingham Forest) thats trying to buy them
If true it's no wonder the EFL are not rushing into it.
We just need that bloke from Bolton/Watford to join in for a full house.
I wonder if/when it may occur to the EFL that they are knee deep in fraudsters attempting to buy football clubs and perhaps just perhaps they need to amend their ownership rules ?
Absolute fuckwits.8 -
oh the one that was using Gold's money to try and buy Bolton that didn't satisfy Bolton and went to court to try and block a takeover of Bolton. (Gold wanted the property around Bolton's ground), he who was banned from buying a football club for so many years. So many parasites in football. Or have I got them mixed up. Was he the same guy that wanted to buy us?0

Fawaz was the one rumoured to be interested in us after pictures being leaked of him being shown around the Valley2 -

Bury breaking! Steve Dale has texted to say he’s sold the club. EFL is aware and will take a look ASAP. Dale hasn’t said who he’s sold it to. I do know that C&N Sporting Risk has put in a bid. Theirs was not the only one.

Guess we'll find out in the morning what has actually happened
The EFL did say that they wouldnt provide an update until tomorrow what with the late deadline
Of course as mentioned by SkySportsNews a minute ago... It doesnt actually seal the deal - All this is doing is it means that these buyers have about 48-hours to try and get the whole deal done (Due Dilligence etc.) - What worries me is there is nothing to stop Dale from doing a Roland and changing his demands at the last minute which would of course still screw Bury over!!0 -
Doesn't say he text himpaulie8290 said:Another one he has text to say he has sold it, thats at least 4 journos he has text now to say he has soldBREAKINGSteve Dale has told me that the club has been sold#BuryFC

"Paperwork with the EFL". Oh dear.8 -
Always found it odd the Manchester kids bought Salford and not Bury given the Nevills dad has a Bury stand named after him and their mum only resigned last week after 35 years working there.. then they bought a local rival, pumped in a load of cash and added another local competitor for fans in an already crowded market. Not blaming them for Bury’s woes but just seemed a more natural fit/purchase.15

I don't want to piss on Bury's cornflakes, but they're saying a deal has been agreed.
Douchebag had possibly agreed a deal with the Aussies more than a year ago.2 -
Yeah but did that info come from Sky Sports news or any reputable news outlet or did it come from a poster who ‘has links with the club’, ‘has a good source’ or just happened to go to school with the buyer?0

Well it's gone midnight & Bury are still owned by Dale.
Weak EFL again.
Don't say they have until 11.59 if you don't mean it.1 -
An EFL Spokesman said:“The EFL has this evening received notification that Steve Dale has accepted an offer from C&N Sporting Risk for the sale of Bury FC.1/2 https://t.co/2yDsWGekSz“We are currently in discussions with the potential purchaser and await information to allow the Board to consider a request for an extension to Friday’s deadline.”2/21 -
They still have to do DD yet. How can that be done and achieved in 48hrs. We know it takee 2yrs.0
