Brewster collected a long ball on his chest and fired low from an angle. 3-1 at half time.
Miles better after the first 20 minutes when we weren't gelling.
I reckon
1 Amos
2 Matthews
3
4 Morgan
5
6
7 Dempsey
8 Forster caskey
9 brewster (?)
10 Aneke
11 Quiontera
Might well be wrong, anybody else?

(1) Are you sure its Brewster as their twitter mentioned Davison
(2) Who is Brewster, never heard of him before0 -
Garbutt is the only name in the Ipswich side I recognise, I think he's coming back from injury

If Brewster had played, I reckon we'd have won by more. He sounds quality.5

Don't be hard on yourself. It was an easy mistake to make. The two names are very similar.bolloxbolder said:

This was the team according to a match report from some Ipswich newspaper.
CHARLTON ATH (4-4-2): Amos; Matthews, Yao (cpt), Keefe, Vega; Dempsey, Forster-Caskey, Morgan, Junior (Clayden 58); Davison, Aneke (Powell 77).
Matthews got a couple of assists with Bowyer watching on.

What a good match report, there can't be many teams (especially in the 3rd tier) who get that sort of coverage for their U23 side.jac52 said:This was the team according to a match report from some Ipswich newspaper.

Bizarre career Richard Wright, well over 300 games in 2 spells at Ipswich, but long periods of bench warming elsewhereTodds_right_hook said:

Never quite fulfilled his potential when he was supposed to be Seaman's successorkillerandflash said:

Then drifted into sub keeper territory. An easy gig I guess being the 3rd keeper for a Man City type team needing an extra "home grown" player for their squad...ForeverAddickted said:

Sage said:We now don’t have a home game for the U23s until 28th October.
Personally be surprised now to see too many first team/senior players involved until we are at home again, unless absolutely necessary.
I heard we were trying to arrange a behind closed doors friendly for either end of last week or sometime this week. No idea at all if that’s been sorted out or not or been played or not, but with Matthews playing 90 minutes today, I assume they didn’t manage to arrange it.
Unless again, they have, and we have players such as Amos, Oshilaja, Page, Forster-Caskey, Lapslie, Oztumer, Bonne all playing some part. Some of these players desperately need minutes, and others are coming back from injury. As far as I know, Page should be back in full training again this week. I bloody hope so. Therefore, in theory, we could have all our players training with us by the end of the week and no one actually on the treatment table.
I've just noticed we are at home to Swansea in the Premier League cup.
Friday, October 4th: Charlton v Swansea City (Premier League Cup - 1pm - Princes Park)

Can't see us putting out a very strong side tomorrow0
-
will be there but expecting a defeat to a category A team especially with a weakened team likely to be put out.0
-
One all at half time. Swansea took the lead and dominated early on. Davison equalised following in a keeper spill from a strong Powell shot.
Since then it's been all Charlton. Keeper has made a couple of good stops and strong claim for a penalty turned down.
Reckon match could be the reverse of Wednesday night with us turning round a deficit to win.2 -
HT 1-10
