Cracking away day that one. Is it me or does the walk through that park get longer every year?
Had little confidence going into this and was unimpressed when I saw the line up. Really should have known better. As tweeted after the game, it’s an absolute pleasure following this group as you know they’ll give 100%.
Fulham are a very good unit and Mitrovic is a stand out player at this level. Loved watching his old Skool scrap with Pearce.
Commitment and performances all over the pitch. So please for Macaulay actually scoring a proper goal, the lad worked his arse off all game. While at the other end, that was probably Dillon’s best game as a pro.
We look like we need a little recharge break. He’s hoping we come back after it with the same drive and mentality. I’m pretty sure we will.7 -

Thought we'd get thumped yesterday, I have to learn to stop doubting this team.
4 points from 3 difficult games with injuries to key players, we're not going to be relegated and this season is a free hit to just enjoy and who knows how far we'll go2 -

I’m not really sure why people are downplaying this.
I know the result was a good one in context and both Seth and Chris made great points in their posts, but the goal was purely and simply offside. “Technically” and “Slightly” don’t come into it.

Good to see Sky having an all-Charlton line up.
Would like VAR lite. Just a couple of guys watching on TV and a quick word in the refs ear "offside mate - no goal".
15 seconds MAX to correct simple errors.
No fuss - no breaks in play - just get it right when everybody in the stadium and on TV can see that the officials have missed something!0 -

Trainers washed & drying out.....still red soles though. Calmed down (a bit) to post a few thoughts.....
Up there with Pompey away (1-0 win) for atmosphere & enjoyment. Agree with AFKA about the walk through the park too.
JFC played brilliantly seeing as he hasnt had much game time & was out of position.
Phillips MOTM.....but only just pipping the while defence.
Fulham the best team we've played this season.....their crossing was so dangerous & imo they will be in the top 2 at the end of the season.
We wont get relegated but wont also be top 6 (sadly). Just enjoy the ride.5 -

Not really Algarve, the TV cameras always focus on the bigger club. Just like we can't get a look in whenever we play the Top Six. Fulham fans will understand that given their limited support and history. Supporters of the big clubs like ours need to be gracious but accept that we will always steal the limelight from the minnows.....Algarveaddick said:

Great coverage for us, but if you were a Fulham fan you'd be a bit pissed off.
Until Sir Chris became regularly available, we have had years and years of no Addicks representation on these panels, not Fulham's fault, but about 0.5% has been clawed back.

Luck would be a freak wind blowing the ball out of play every time they kicked it. What we saw was hard work and doing just enough to put thethemn off enough to hit the bar etc.

First time I’ve ever sat in the wrong end for a Charlton game, it’s absolute hell! But I’m so glad I went, what a performance that was! Incredibly hard not to swear at the linesman for the offside when surrounded by Fulham fans! 4 points from 9 out of those 3 games is some effort!4
