  • Back to the topic of the tickets.

Any news when these will go on sale and what phases?
  • I thought the sales phases would have been announced by now
  • Nice try, Christopher.
    It even happened to you.

Averaging incredible 9k crowds in league one, you're now up to just over 13k in the championship. Don't worry though, we'll help you fill your stadium.
  • The babies you have eaten probably have more teeth than most of your fan base.

We remove our children's teeth from birth.
  • Anyway back from eating babies bones (very weird) we have 2176 tickets.

Well thank you Curbs, us children needed some focus every now and again.

I assume that's upper tier only

The Addicks head to The Den for the first time since December 2016 and have been handed a full allocation of 2,176 in the top tier of the North Stand. Despite discussions between the two clubs, Charlton will not receive further allocation in the bottom tier.

£29 for adult ticket, rip off prices

  • I assume that's upper tier only

That's not even the entirety of the upper tier. Either more will be released, upon selling the initial allocation, or they've decided to close a portion of the side blocks in the upper. If that's the case then you may well get two blocks directly behind the goal in the lower tier.

  • Who’s going to be the first to say “i’m buying in the home end”

Most unlikely they've held some tickets back, I imagine that they've closed the side blocks as well

Considering someone pointed out that Leeds brought 2,212 (or similar, I can't be bothered to check), and none of the side blocks were partitioned off, I'd assume you're right. Closure of some blocks due to flare-man spoiling it for you and no allocation in the lower tier.

Still, at £29 a pop, I'm sure we can all agree it's a bargain. Especially for affluent folks like yourselves. It's us and our unemployed selves that should be complaining ;)

We won’t get any of the lower tier, you are talking rubbish

Thanks for your well thought out analysis.

Keyword in my post was 'may', which renders my post quite accurate.

I didn't say you 'would', so you're talking non-recyclable rubbish.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay. There's some very nice people on here who will make you feel most welcome.

    Does this help you ?
  • That is annoying, I have 575 loyalty points just 5 short of 580 and no VG. So do not get a chance to buy until Wednesday.
  • £29!

I am not going to pay that. I’m out.

I agree, thanks for your kind offer shine166 but that is just ridiculous

No. However I hope it will help you realise what I actually said, which was:

"Either more will be released, upon selling the initial allocation, or they've decided to close a portion of the side blocks in the upper. If that's the case then you may well get two blocks directly behind the goal in the lower tier."

To surmise, it looks like we've closed a portion of the side blocks. I mentioned this above and said that if that were the case then YOU MAY get lower tier tickets. At no point did I state you would.

Do you get it now? Do you agree with me now. Do you? I need to know.

  • No he don't

The system just doesn’t work to be honest with you. Things like that is one example, another being you could have 495 points and have to wait until Friday morning but someone with 355 points waits until Friday afternoon.

There is a lot wrong with the loyalty points including how if you buy a day before you get 10, but buying on the day means you only get 5. Same price, sometimes even more, same game, but half the loyalty points.

It’s also silly how you can get loyalty points for a home game when you already have a season ticket if you’re buying an extra ticket for someone else. It shouldn’t matter whether it was you purchasing or someone else, it’s still the same amount so how can the points not be allocated?

Similar to when going to away games. If the tickets have been purchased by someone else but they’re linked to your account and you’re also going, why is only one set of loyalty points given to the purchased account. It should be to whoever went to that game.

Overall, regarding the tickets for just Millwall, the prices that Millwall have set for this game is ridiculous. £29 for an adult is a lot, but without setting an U25 or U21 price, it is obviously to deter people from that age range from going because of having to pay the high price.

Stuwall, it says ‘full allocation’ and no more in the lower. We have 2,176 tickets and that’s it. It’s not difficult is it ? So your ‘either/or’ options are nonsense. What don’t you get ?
