Good crosser when he moved to the left wing, too.First I've seen of him today but is a big lad who holds the ball up and looks like an old style CF who can head a ball.
How old is he?

People wondering why Brewster wasn't playing for Charltons U23 today ...... Brewster came on as a HT sub for England U21 tonight.
Bit much to expect him to play 2 games on the same day.

Tall enough to be able to hold a ball up and get his nut on a ball above a 6ft CB. Hope that helps.harveys_gardener said:

Wow £3 to watch an U23 fixture when the likes of Ipswich and Queens Park Rangers have been providing it for free
Thats only £2 less than being able to watch a First Team game in the Championship from abroad!!0 -
Probably coz its at the shithole and a Premier League ground. QPR dont play their U23s at Loftus rd not sure about Ipswich.ForeverAddickted said:Wow £3 to watch an U23 fixture when the likes of Ipswich and Queens Park Rangers have been providing it for free

Unfortunately, with a League game on Wednesday, we will not be able to field as strong a team as I would like.0
-
Starting XI | Harness, Vennings, Keefe, Mingi, Stevenson, Quitirna, Dempsey, Powell, Clayden, Isiaka, Davison. Subs | Harvey, French, Odoh, Allsopp, Ocran. #cafc2 -
I have a job at Sainsburys FC(Crystal Palarse) so i should of went to this. no first teamers getting some fitness makes it even less interesting. the arthur wait stand is terrible for all fans involved, worst stadium in the premier league.0

Isiaka scored our first goal.1

We've come back to lead after conceding early.0

Is there a rule that says Palace have to be awarded a penalty at Selhurst!Henry Irving said:1 -
How did Vennings play?0

Vennings did well. Powell at right back was the best performance for me. An even first half but we dominated the second and should have had 4 or 5!Henry Irving said:How did Vennings play?1 -
Love the references to the Surrey border! (And the result).0

Missing Maloney, Morgan, Doughty, Wiredu, AMB, Aoucharia, at least. Not bad strength in depth. Interesting, this season there isn't a single kid in the 1st squad.2

Yao, who has been captaining the side lately, was omitted. Injured or dropped? Pleasing that Johl Powell did well at RB, but he might be wasted there in the longer run.2 -
First time I’ve been able to see the U23s this season.
I think we deserved the win. The penalty was given for a handball. It was rightly given and was poorly taken. Harness done well to get down quickly to make the save. I thought Harness played well and his kicking from hand was good.
Powell at right back was our best player. Caused them problems going forward all game. I thought Dempsey had a good game too.
Davison up top holds the ball up very well too.
All in all a good performance from a very young under 23 team. Consider the players that were missing whilst up against a Premier League academy - it was pleasing to watch.
