Thanks. Haven't caught the start of the programme for some weeks. Thought I'd slipped into a parallel universe!

What time were we on as I’ve just scrubbed through all the champ games and didn’t see ours?!

Just after Millwall. It's a lovely double header...

    Just before 46/47 mins in.
  • I'm really enjoying watching the L1 action now, as we've now left it behind but I still know most of the teams

Watching Sunderland and Pompey losing at Wycombe and Wimbledon really shows how far we've progressed

Is remarkable what Gareth Ainsworth is doing @ Wycombe with absolutely zero budget

At least when we did it we had the Charlton name / Academy / Valley to rely on to make it intimidating

Really hope he stays there and gets them promoted in May!!

Especially as they've never been higher than League One before

I didnt know they had never been higher than league one before. Would like to seem them at least get to play offs this season. Have a feeling Oxford may be up there as well but hope i am wrong. Their fans pissed me off at the Valley when we lost 2-3 right at the end, scummy little boys.
    Feels so long ago now.

I don't like Wycombe. It's because as a boy they were the main rivals for Slough Town. The first team I supported.
Their journey from the Isthmian League however is to be applauded but more so that they have stayed in the FL.

Apart from Ipswich (who ironically lost today) it does feel as though League One is extremely weak this term

Once again, not one of the failed Play-Off teams from last season in the top six teams at the moment

Shows how well Bowyer did to brush off the defeat against Shrewsbury two years ago to make us more of a threat last time round

This returns on Saturday (9pm) 90 minutes of Championship highlights

They will also have a Wednesday show for midweek fixtures

EFL on Quest is a good show. They have good guests and I quite like the host too.

to be fair to Colin Murray - he certainly does his homework and knows his stuff, really warmed to him over the past year or so

I think Colin Murray is the best.
I've not heard a more knowledgeable & genuinely interested football pundit outside The Premier League.

It really doesn’t matter whether they are shown on BBC, ITV or some random channel does it. Our highlights this week started with our goal and showed one Birmingham shot afterwards, utterly pathetic coverage frankly.

Sky ones are better. 10 minutes per game.

Yes I stayed up to watch it for the first time this season. Won’t bother again! The only consolation I could take was they must have decided it was a meaningless midtable clash.

One thing I will say is it showed that Stansfield was actually onside when he looked miles off.

VAR would show that his ego was 10 yards offside.

I don't watch the programme for our highlights, as I've seen them anyway. I watch it for all the other games, and indeed the other leagues, which I can just enjoy!

The coverage of our game was pathetic, but happy that the world considers us a boring mid table team going nowhere.

Watched it last night……blinked and missed our game. In fact I found it pretty insulting
Total waste of time staying up for  if you ask me.😕

I rarely watch it, although when I do, it sends a slight shudder down my spine to see these sparsely populated stadiums. We really do not ever want to go back to the darkness of League 1.

Last night's highlights show came from The Valley, with Hodgson being the big story, rather than the game itself.

Charlotte Richardson wasn't at The Valley yesterday,  as she was presenting the L1 segment from Lincoln.

I stayed up late watching and waiting for Huddersfield's goal 15 minutes into injury time last night as reported on here after our draw at Watford, and it never came. They showed 1-1 i'm sure, with a headed goal being an equaliser for HTFC, but there was a later goal in the 15th minute of injury time!?

Now i see the error confirmed in the comments section in the BBC report-
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/c4g46nnn2r9t

but now i don't know if ITV just mis-reported the end result or actually truncated the report altogether and cut the winning goal out in a more gross misrepresentation.

A cockup by the production team who make the show for ITV.

I thought it was bizarre that they didn't mention the Conor Coady incident either.

The Good Friday EFL highlights show had Stockport’s game until they were 1-0 up, then switched to Newport, then came back to the Stockport game. Obviously an editing error as it’s not exactly relegation/promotion battle.
