If that was a FK, it was a pen at other end.

Pratley wins a corner. He's being surprisingly attacking today. Corner comes to nothing though

Was that a handball in the area?
  • Some important interceptions already by Pratley and then, having won the ball, happy to charge forward with it.

Oh deary me, that was a bit of an obvious push from Pratley on the halfway line
  • Sorry, I don't get to see many matches and am watching this on a stream - is Pratley always this awesome?

Well hopefully that crossfield ball from Naby that went out for a goalkick was today's brainfart out of the way early

    Radio London ...

Andy Rowley: Lee Bowyer says Jason Pearce is a player who, if you told him to jump in front of a bus, would do it.

Paul Parker: If he jumped in front of a bus he wouldn't be very bright.

@LouisMend: With our injury crisis it would be very stupid!

Pretty nothing game so far. Both sides strong in the middle and pretty much cancelling each other out.

Brilliant pass from Kayal, great knock on from Bonne, powerful shot straight at keeper from Purrington

Purrington did not need to shoot there
  • Macca - chaser of lost causes.

Did well to force their keeper into a small mistake.

Close! Kayal is again clearly a cut above the rest in class, I really hope he can get his fitness up to a point where he plays every week. Great cross from Purrington

Oof little flicked header from Gallagher just sneaks wide - entertaining reaction shot from Bowyer

Our midfield depth really is incredible.
  • The back three, shielded by Prats and Cullen, have restricted PNE to long-range efforts only so far.

    Long may it continue.

  • Curious Naby and Ben rotating as WB?
  • Great save Dillon!

Naby's looking a bit wobbly today. Lockyer too. Thank god for Pratley

That long ball is a pretty good way to hurt us. Stockley is a unit.

    At the match.
BFG gets a good reception as he should.
Atmosphere flatter than usual. Blame 12 o clock ko for that.
Good turnout by the Preston fans concidering the journey.

As for the game itself. Nothing in it.

If I can defend Naby here, the touch by the winger was freakish and completely accidental, it was like that Bergkamp goal against Argentina, and then he was put off by Pearce's air kick for Phillips' save

Not going to defend him there lol, although he took the yellow rightly enough

Naby Sarr looking very shaky so far, picks up a booking as he loses control of the ball and has to stop Johnson, Johnson looking decent and is struggling, goes off, maybe able to walk it off but can't as going to be subbed.

Sarr is having an absolute shocker. He looks pissed.

And then he gets booked by being careless.
    Defend that Leuth
