Selby took over 6 minutes to play a shot v Higgins.
A lot is being made of this and its winding me up, yes it was 6 minutes but it was 1 shot, and bare in mind the pot was hard enough on its own, but if he missed he would have left Higgins in with an easy clearence to win the match.
I was watching it and had to mute because Neal Foulds was going on and on about it.
Selbys AST in the match was 24 seconds, so its not as tho it was a constant thing, it was one shot which if he missed would have cost him the match(ok he lost the match antway but at least he had the chance)

I like Se!by and I don't subscribe to the view that he is a slow player. But 6 minutes for any shot is unacceptable and when it's simply a choice of which pot to take on it's even worse. There is no justification for it.

But we will never know as we will never be in that position what we would do, 1 ranking event win in 14 months for someone who i used to winning events, the £1 million prize still within reach but one miss and u are out, to say its unacceptable for 1 shot is not correct in that position.
