Cyclists whose bikes are lit, either front or back, by a single flashIng light. If that was a good idea you'd see cars, lorries and motorbikes lit like that, but you don't because it's shit. Probably good as a secondary light, but never as the main one.

And yes, I was nearly mown down by one of these goons down Tooley St this evening.

Come on B, you asked Tavern if he wanted super sex, and he replied soup.

Agreed - Americans have a lot to answer for linguistically.

  • Probably said this one before but people who dont look both ways before crossing the road

Even outside of the City you can tell people work up there because on the way to the Station they just step out in the road without looking to check if a car is turning

I know cars dont have a god given right in the road but why bloody risk your life when (1) The driver might not see you (2) Are you really confident that said car's brakes are in great condition?

Realising ten minutes into your commute that you've got bird poo all over the shoulder of your coat and nothing to wipe it off with.

And then people who buy those puppies who end up giving the animal to a rescue centre shortly after Christmas because they've become an unwanted present!!

Reminds me of the day way back when an office colleague asked what was on my tie.
Turned out to be a ruddy great lump of Porridge.
I wouldn't mind, but it was around 11.30am, which means it had been there all through my commute, during my walk down the Strand and all morning where I had interacted with a dozen or more colleagues who had said nothing!!
  • Working with a shitty manager at the moment, who has just been brought in claiming he knows it all. Been asked to do simple excel tasks, and can’t even fulfil that.

Worst part is he’s being paid almost 60% more than I am. I have documented everything and have presented this to the Head of department who says plans are in place to get rid of him, but for now I have to just put up with it as there’s admin involved. He’s constantly slagging everyone in the department off to me, turns up 45mins late every day with no text or message to let me know. The guy is an absolute bell end. Sorry to rant on here, I’ve got nowhere else to turn at the moment as it’s a two man department.

I feel your pain, many bosses I've had the misfortune to report to have a big gob and very little to back it up, I can only assume such people are very good at interviews cos the employer can't see a BullS--tter when they are sat in front of them, the fact they haven't been in 1 job for more than a few months should usually ring alarm bells

Had a w****r "renting" my flat for while, Charlton supporter and may post on here, not only did he knock me for most of the rent (and silly bollocks here also gave him a squeeze for the deposit etc.), he was breeding Bullmastiffs in the only bedroom in it. Wrecked the brand new carpet - Ripped up from the door threshold, where the poor dogs must have been trying to get out, dried shit in the corners, and also wrecked the brand new door, not to mention the cruelty aspect of it. Apparently, these people take the unsold, unregistered left overs, down the pound to whatever fair awaits them.

If you are on here and you are reading this, keep the dough, I'd sooner stand on your wind pipe for you next time we meet, which we will

I have reserved a puppy from a litter due over Christmas, this was purely due to the availability of the sire normally they are born in the early new year to give the puppies the better weather when they are young. None of the litter would have been sold to an unknown buyer had the potential litter not already reserved with a waiting list of 10 and is now closed.

I know people think it's not right to, but I think it's got to the stage where you have to have a licence to have a dog / bitch that hasn't been neutered. It would go a way to stop the wrong people using their dogs for profit. I knew a bloke who had / has a Puggle and I know that he's bred from her at least twice, purely to pay for things like holidays etc..

....just see Puggle's are going for around the £500 mark now, 100 *edit - 10 years ago* years ago, he was charging around the £1200 mark. Is that a sign that more members of joe public are cashing in????

Just a quote from one advert - "Pug / puggle pups will be ready on Christmas week , two bitches , two males , available for viewing anytime with possible deposit options , I’m not a breeder but my two beloved dogs have decided to breed themselves, they are both in great health and stunning dogs , the father is an f2 puggle that’s half beagle half pug and the dam is 5th generation pure pug and papers can be seen"

Course they did, and just in time for "Christmas week", Drip

Mate it don’t work, by law they have to be chipped. It costs 10/15 quid to get that done some places  offer free chipping service, if they bother at all they don’t register the chip, licences won’t work, they only work if you’ve got someone to police it. Don’t get me on the ridiculous prices of cross breeds because someone gave them a name, cockerwhatevers, labrawhatsits have been in rescues for years they are called cross breeds or mongrels. Nothing to do with pedigree snobbery it’s about stopping people breeding for money, not one person would meet someone at a service station and buy a car with no paperwork, mot or service history from someone they didn’t know, yet they’ll do that with a puppy because it looks ok!

I am a male and Mrs Idle is a female, and we've never had an accidental litter either. Except for Idle_jr, obvs, but we love him anyway.
