Will we be the home team and wear red as we did in 1998?0
-
Amazing to see Forest there, when you consider how many times they will have played at the old Wembley during the Clough yearsstackitsteve said:and then there were 9.....

It's done based on the higher placed team is it not?0 -
We were the lower team in 98, yet played in redRossman92 said:EastTerrace said:

In 98 I think a coin was tossed to determine the home team who got to play in colours and the home dressing room.
No idea if that still applies.

Change this to 100% record at the new Wembley.

Forest still with a chance this year0

While their fans obviously want them to go up, it would have been awful for them if they're first trip to New Wembley was behind closed doorspaulie8290 said:Colchester were so close to taken it down to 7

As the season ends it’s time to update the list. Only 1 update this year.stackitsteve said:

Good work @stackitsteve really enjoy these updates

That’s an impressively short list given the stadium only reopened in 2007 but then with so many different ways to qualify getting a game there you almost have to make an effort not to. 4 ex-PL clubs0
-
With clubs yo-yoing between Championship, L1 and L2 (with the chance of the playoffs), plus the EFL Trophy, it's quite easy to get there for a L1/L2 side. It's teams like Blackburn, who seem stuck in Championship mid table, and with little chance of cup glory in the FA and EFL cups, who will struggle to get there!letthegoodtimesroll said:That’s an impressively short list given the stadium only reopened in 2007 but then with so many different ways to qualify getting a game there you almost have to make an effort not to. 4 ex-PL clubs0 -

Hartlepool winning the play off final and getting promoted back to the EFL adds them to the list.
Sadly for them the Euros being held at Wembley meant the final was held in Bristol this season and Hartlepool were denied their first ever visit to the national stadium.

Soon to be back down to 9.
Sutton beat Wigan in the EFL Trophy and set up their visit to the “new” Wembley stadium for the first time.
It could be an EFL Trophy double if Hartlepool beat Rotherham tomorrow night.
On top of that - Blackburn, Ipswich, Nottingham Forest and Port Vale are all sitting in or around the play off places at the minute.2 -
Well now I have my fingers crossed for Hartlepool so that number can be pushed down to eight!

I hope Hartlepool do it as they were robbed of a Wembley appearance last season plus of course they deserve it after their cup exploits this year.Callumcafc said:Well now I have my fingers crossed for Hartlepool so that number can be pushed down to eight!1
