    This. Nothing wrong with being patriotic and probably gave Lockyer a boost at the same time. How many welsh players did Cardiff have in their side today ?

    I don't think they're as bad as they used to be, but there was a time around 10-15 years ago when they were the club with the highest number of banning orders.

    I remember them playing away at Chelsea in the FA Cup about 10 years ago and there were riots all day.

    How long were they kept behind if at all? Were a few of them at the station on platform 2 giving it large after no time at all

    I thought the Engerland singing came after the Welsh anthem but could be wrong.
    You are right tho about the Welsh anthem and they done a good version today i even heard a middle class woman near me say how good the singing was

    I enjoyed the Welsh anthem also, the best bit of away fan singing at The Valley this season.

    If Wales had lost to Hungary they might not have been feeling so patriotic though  :D

    Singing a national anthem is hardly offensive, unlike other songs that are sung around the country on a Saturday afternoon.

     Not saying it's offensive,  far from it. They don't represent Wales and play in an English league, that's what gets me. I actually have Welsh heritage so not that anti Welsh.
