FA Cup 3rd round - (and Charlton will play...West Brom home)

With our top players back from injury.
Palace1 -
I started supporting Charlton after they won 2-0 at Palace in a third round replay at Selhurst, two goals from Ray Treacy, about 66/67 I think?
Be good to emulate that.1 -
Anyone in the North West or Midlands 😈.0

Forest Green Rovers or Newport A please Bob.2

It doesn't matter because we aren't going to win the cup anyway. Bowyer will rest all the big guns and fill the side with subs and youngsters.......1

A home tie so we can all go.0

Man City of course - and play it in Abu Dhabi.1

However, its on 3rd Jan, so its possible we could have some players in by then , especially if we have already lined them up during December.?AFKABartram said:I don’t think it really matters.
Given last year as a guide, with a huge injury list and a priority of survival, Bowyer will most likely treat this as second class and not put a particularly strong side out.0 -
A winnable home match or an away day at a big PL ground, the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, City, Aston Villa, Everton0

I hope it's either someone so bad that we don't have to send out a proper team, or someone ridiculously good so we get to see a decent team and don't have to fanny about trying to put out a team for an inconvenient extra fixture with our injury list. What we'll actually get is Reading or Forest away.2
-
Utd or spurs away.

As we are playing Swansea on the Thursday night. I assume we will be playing on Sunday.1
-
Millwall Home or Away so we can concentrate on the league.3
-
Tranmere away.0

We'll be fielding a team from the under 14s unless injuries improve quickly.

AFC Fylde away.0

Any team that gives us a better chance at a quick exit.
Fuck the FA Cup, we need to focus on the league and the league only.

I find it quite amusing that someone at the club decided to post this as news on the Charlton website. It's hardly news. We would have been ball 12 since promotion and relegation were sorted out at the end of last season as they order the teams from 1 to 44 for the top two divisions. Indeed, being ball 12 has little significance except that you will know Charlton have been drawn out of the 'hat' about one second before it is actually announced. And, if it's at home, you won't know who the opposition until the next ball is drawn out unless you have learnt all the numbers in which case you will know one second quicker than those that don't know.clive said:0 -

Someone's thinking about his 92 clubs to tick off!Covered End said:Forest Green Rovers or Newport A please Bob.
any of Hartlepool, Crewe, Forest Green, Rochdale, Burton, Newport, Fleetwood from the lower leagues away would do for my 92 club
Premier League - Chelsea, Wolves and Newcastle away would do for the 92 as well.
In reality - probably Oxford, Huddersfield or Swansea being the closest away league fixture to the cup weekend.
