Playing devil's advocate here but are we 100% sure that Matt Southall's twitter account is definitely him?!

(as a Charlton fan I'm desperately trying to thing of all the possible things that could go wrong here...!)

If it doesn't go through then Matt Southall will be in for even bigger pelters than Andrew Muir got for rocking up in a Charlton scarf!
Remember, if Matt Southall has bought a player, Andrew Muir only bought a scarf.

I thought the EFL hadn’t even began interviews with ESI yet? Considering they want to interview Roland first
The interview with Roland was very short “huh”
Or perhaps Andrew Neil is conducting the interview and Roland is too scared to do it?

Yes its been confirmed as the correct account by Cawley in response to the same question on Facebook, so I guess it is.

But had it been confirmed that it's the real Cawley?
    And who's to say you're the real @Redmidland ?

  • Can’t imagine any official announcement now until Monday. It’s past 16:00 and not a lot of paperwork gets done after four on a Friday afternoon.

I reckon it’s gotta be close to being announced. He’s even got a picture of ‘Vote for Vince” on his profile

5 Charlton lifers in that photo
7 if you include you. ;)
    Oi
    6 1/2 then.
    I'm not in the photo.

I just gave them a call and a Belgian answered the phone and asked what my symptoms were.

I was hoping it would be settled by this weekend as I am off to Goa early Monday and I am not sure if I will get any news out there

That all depends if they've got a public sector or private sector approach to work

Yeah, but I also thought the interviews were the last part of the process, and maybe it would be confirmed that all was good in a MS / CawleyTweet or something. Like I say, wishful thinking

Well, when I say working, Rob, what I really mean is having a cup of tea, checking Charlton Life, and waiting for the traffic outside to die down.
