If he wants away then so be it.
Toney will be a decent replacement!!
Fuck him let him go.
I never said anything remotely like that. The rest was a joke because in reality I would be gutted to see him go. He would be hard to replace and I can’t see someone like Toney coming in unfortunately. More likely the Blackpool guy.0 -
I wonder if this so called exclusive is actually just trying to get a few hits on the Londonnewsonline website.
Doesn’t say when the contract was offered so might be referring to the last time one was offered to him. Doesn’t seem credible that RD would be offering contracts now with the sale about to go through.0 -
Our fans are a real sensitive bunch!1

I heard a little while ago that he (through his agent) was offered 60% of what he was looking for and it was turned down by his agent.
Taylor can say that "HE" hasn't been offered a contract, but that doesn't mean that his agent wasn't.1 -
He thinks he is better than he is thats clear. I would like him to stay but not bothered if he goes now tbh.2

Would you sign a contract with RD in charge? I wouldn’t.New owners, better contract? I would wait and see and I suspect he has too. I would love him to sign a new contract. He is 29 a footballers life is short. We would all want to best deal. Wouldn’t we do the same?6

we will be mental to not offer him a decent 3 year deal and let him walk for nothing, he would stay with the right (sensible) offer - my guess is he's not even taking the piss with what he's after3

Rich Cawley has said he doesn't believe ESI's offer would be much different from Roland's, which if true, surely suggests it's a decent offer.0

Nothing to see here people, bog standard pre-contract double talk and bullshit.
the twunt's (dis)organisation will have offered LT a contract beyond his current one, LB won't be making that up, there's no comment as to when that was done, which is crucial to "the truth"
only a total moron would accept a contract from the decrepit old liar at this (or any) stage
the twunt has form for idiotic mishandling of Charlton's best players, anyone ignoring that is a cretin
In his current condition LT ain't passing any fitness tests for clubs at this, let alone higher levels, so ain't about to be committing to anybody else this side of January
For sure, all sorts of chancers pricks and pisstakers will have been tapping him up, that's just life as a football pro who's any good.
the twatterati giving LT a hard time from the safety of their potties, while their carers wipe their noses are all cretins, chancers, pricks, and pisstakers worthy of but scorn and derision

I like Taylor, he is everything i hate about players that play for other teams, he riles you up, he is gritty but he is also a real character. Do i see him leaving honestly? no i don't. i think personally if he has spoken to ESI and likes the sound of the project they are keen to put in place, why would you leave? just offer him a package that he isn't going to turn down. It's all about ambition and money, his 29, he wants to play in the prem, if they invest the way we hope then that could happen in 2 years, who knows?!?
Lets be honest, if they do invest as we all hope, it could be some serious adventure for him and us, one i would hope he would want to be a part of, as personally i feel he could play a major part.3 -
I really can't be arsed with Lyle anymore. He had his mind made up in August about leaving and it fell through, disappointed he was, he has still played hard which is all we can ask (when he's been fit). I doubt his mind has changed much since then and I expect he'll be off.
We all have differing opinions on the social media bants, for me its childish and I'm getting sick of looking at it. He knows the fans are going bonkers with the takeover still pending, yet he continues to wind us up.
20 goals is very hard to replace, and normally I'd be heartbroken for us to lose such a pivotal player, in this instance, I don't really care7 -

I imagine he has had contact with clubs regularly since the Brentford deal went sideways.
Who can blame him for a final pay day to change the course of his life.2 -

Incidentally, my take on Taylor is that he will go where the best payday is.
As it stands, we know full well that under the Duchatalet regime that’s not going to happen, so ‘if it’s true’ that he has turned down the current offer (quelle surprise), that’s quite understandable.
I for one am pretty confident that when and if the takeover happens, then a far better deal will be offered.....let’s see what happens.
As far as Lyles social media stuff goes I don’t read any of it...... I honestly don’t care one little bit what stuff he comes out with. I care about all the times he’s got me out of my seat applauding his contribution.
Some posters are saying he doesn’t want to continue playing for us......’as things stand’ I can perfectly understand that......so let’s collectively keep our cool and see what gives.
All I know is that he has been outstanding for us and we simply cannot let another top quality talisman slip through our grasp yet again and expect to easily replace him......I have seen that scenario more times than I wish to remember.
Just for once, let’s shake off that long held selling club tag that we have fostered for the last 60 years and build upon it.11 -

Was pretty devastated when Yann went - don't feel the same way about LT.2 -

Unfortunately for us our think our position in the table means he will go. Realistically we can't get promoted and if a Swansea or West Brom come in I can't see him signing a new deal, however lucrative as it means he has a real shot of playing Premier League football come August. If we were offering 5k more than them maybe he would stay, but I can't see that happening.
Realastically we are going to be tempted with any offer over 2million which is peanuts in today's market.

A lot of over reacting here.
If the new owners are confirmed, Bowyer signs a new deal and it's announced that Taylor has signed a new 3 year deal we'd all be delighted. So not sure i get people saying "he can fuck off now" etc etc.
Also seen it said that people wouldn't mind him going, if Toney comes in. No way are we getting Toney as Peterborough want 10m+ for him. My guess is Toney will go in the summer to one of the 3 clubs relegated from the premier league or perhaps to Fulham if they don't go up and Mitrovic doesn't want another year in the championship.5 -
