An opportunity for the U23s and any of the 'walking wounded' nearing recovery to get some first team experience and or minutes towards match fitness.
I would wrap our surviving key players in cotton wool for this one.1 -
Adult tickets £15! Good luck with shifting those to watch the U23s and 1st team squad members looking for minutes.

Definitely. I know we always seem to rest players and not take the cup seriously but we don't have much choice at the moment. Only problem is I expect we'll get absolutely tonked which won't do the kids' confidence much good.0

The outcome of this game is irrelevant to our season. We cannot afford any more injuries or any suspensions. Simple as that.0

WBA will put reserves out as well as they will not risk injuries to players with such a healthy lead at the top.
Sadly the FA Cup is not what it used to be, the magic of 3rd Round Day has gone.3 -

But no magic in Charlton v West Brom a game that is played 6 days later in the league1 -
Ask the Fylde fans who travel to Sheffield if the Magic of 3rd round day has gone1

Hardly a glamour tie0 -

Agree with @paulie8290. If we had one of the top teams at home then all the stands would of been open.
Just unfortunate we haven't.
Never mind though, even with the majority of the u23's playing, West Brom won't put a strong team so it will still be winnable.
The only thing both teams don't want is for it to go to a replay.0 -
Terrible timing for us. If we had a full squad of fit players, then squad rotation could even have been a positive. Instead we have a bare bones team, with knackered players needing a rest. We're ALREADY playing the kids and rookies.

Think I’ll swerve this one1

Every Cup game I've been to recently has been a farce in terms of the team.we have put out. If the club don't care it's hard for the fans to be bothered.
Our performance in the League Cup against Forest Green was beyond hopeless.0 -

27,111 sell out as ESI unveil their 7 new signings.0

I don’t agree with clubs’ approach to the FA Cup generally, but in fairness to Charlton there is a minimum adult admission price of £15 written into the rules.0
