We all know actions speak louder than words but Matt Southall's statement is again very impressive - this appears to be someone who really gets Charlton. PLEASE remain true to those words and we'll be off to an great start together.7

Love Benty.
You can tell he still has feelings for Charlton1 -
Was the club sold for £50m?.0

Hope has returned.
Haven't been to the Valley in over 3 years, but have purchased WBA league tickets already.
Win or lose, it should be a great day.12 -

Underwhelming first hour. ESI Out!4

Ecstatic. Relieved. Exhausted. Disbelief (that it would ever get done).
The only way is up. Thank you ESI for ridding us of Roland. And Thomas.
Our time is now. Thank you to everyone who started and kept fighting to rid us of RD.3 -

I think we will see how ambitious the new owner is within the next few weeks, but let's all enjoy a fresh start.
Having said that, many with June 2020 contracts are not up to it, and I expect them to be replaced.5 -

Serious amount of work gone into this, scarf, train picture, official site on the monitor and are they protest water bottles? It’s like a spot the difference.
I’m guessing the boss isn’t back from Christmas break until Monday and it’s a quiet day in the office.12 -
Bye bye yellow toothed old man.2

kept thinking .. it's not gonna happen, not gonna happen .. now it has .. and we will see what we will see .. I am not expecting a flood of cash until next close season with just enough investment to keep us afloat for the next 4/5 months .. the start of a whole new era, let the new guvnors settle in and find their collective feet1

Shouldn't we have a countdown to ending this takeover thread. Maybe announce a deadline for posts to this thread. I'd love it to be given the funeral it deserves, so that well wishers can have the opportunity to say their final goodbyes, then bury it.6 -
We move on - new chapter, new dreams, a few ups and downs no doubt - but we are free of the Belgian lunatic.I love this club.9

I found this on Reuter’s about the takeover.
Abu Dhabi-based businessman Tahnoon Nimer, majority shareholder in East Street Investments through Panorama Magic General Contracting LLC, will be part of the new board.
